The Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test (JEMAT) is a state level entrance test which is held by the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal (MAKAUTWB). The entrance test is held for admission in MBA/MHA/AICTE Approved PG Diploma Programmes in the State in both Govt and Private Management Institutions. JEMAT 2018 Result
After the successful conduction of JEMAT 2018 exam, the exam conducting has announced the result. The JEMAT 2018 Resutl for Phase 2 is available online. The result is available in the form of pdf and consist of details such as Registration Number, Date of Birth, Name, Roll Number, etc. of the candidates who have been shortlisted for further selection process.
After the declaration of JEMAT Result, the scorecard will be issued and can be downloaded through the Student Login. You will come to know the marks scored by you in JEMAT 2018 exam along with your rank. You must take a print out of it to be used during the selection process.
JEMAT 2018 Selection Process
The selection of candidates is done on the basis of candidate’s performance in the entrance exam, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview. In the group discussion, you will be allotted a topic which needs to be discuss for approximately 10 minutes among the group member. Your leadership skills, interpersonal skills, communication ability, knowledge on a topic, ability to think quickly and more will be evaluated.
Thereafter, you have to appear for the personal interview round. There are no marks for this round still it plays an important role in the selection, as your personality, confidence and various other skills are put to test during PI.
After the selection process, a merit is going to be released officially, containing the name of applicants who have qualified selection process. You have to appear for counseling round for seat allotment along with all the documents to support your eligibility and information provided in the JEMAT 2018 registration
JEMAT 2018 Admit Card
The JEMAT Phase II Admit Card was issued online. The candidates were able to download their admit card for JEMAT 2018 at the Applicant Login. No candidate received the hard copy of the admit card by post/ courier/ fax. It consists of personal details of the candidate as well as basic details about the exam. It is important for the candidates to bring the print out of the JEMAT Admit Card on the day of the examination. Along the admit card, the candidates also need to carry the valid id proof.
JEMAT 2018 Exam Pattern
The exam is going to be conducted in pen and paper mode. You have to appear for the offline exam to attempt the total of 100 questions in the time duration of 2 hours or 120 minutes. The entire paper is going to be of objective type and all you have to do is mark the responses on the OMR sheet. Each question in JEMAT 2018 is going to be of 1 mark. However, there is also a provision of negative marking. For every wrong response marked -0.25 marks are deducted from the total marks obtained.

JEMAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Those who wish to apply for WBUT JEMAT 2018 Phase II must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria as given below:
- Should be an Indian citizen
- Must possess a relevant AICTE approved Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Pharmacy/ Architecture.
- Those appearing in the final year of the degree examination are also eligible to apply for JEMAT 2018.
- Those who is an Associate Member of a Professional of Engineers that are recognized by the Govt. of India for the purpose of admission to higher studies in Engineering. M.Sc. or final year M.Sc. Candidates in appropriate branches are also eligible.
Who Is Not Eligible For JEMAT 2018?
Those aspirants who possess a degree acquired through any distance education programme are not eligible.

The application form for JEMAT 2018 is available online for Phase 2. You can apply for JEMAT 2018 by online mode only at the exam official website. No printed application form will be available or sent to the candidates.
