ATMA 2018 is conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS). AIMS has the membership of 740 top notch postgraduate management schools. The admission to the courses of MBA, PGDM, PGDBA, MCA and other postgraduate courses is provided through ATMA 2018 exam. All the candidates who fulfill eligibility criteria will be able to appear for the ATMA 2018 exam and get admission in the MBA colleges of their choice on the basis of marks scored. To know about eligibility, application, exam pattern, admit card, result, scorecard and much more, read the below article.

There are approx 740 B-schools including more than 200 top institutes that are participating in ATMA 2018 to fill the seats of management level pg programs. ATMA 2018 Result

After you have appeared for the ATMA 2018 Exam, you will be able to download the scorecard when the ATMA 2018 Result is announced. To check the ATMA Result 2018 and download the scorecard you have to enter the login details and take a print out of it.

The scorecard will have the details like

  • Your name
  • Roll number
  • Test date
  • Individual percentile of quantitative skills, verbal skills, analytical reasoning and
  • Overall percentile

The score obtained by the candidate will be valid in all the participating institutes for admission to management level courses. However, for admission, every institute has individual authority to decide whether they will admit the candidate or not.

ATMA 2018 Registration

Applicants who want to apply for the exam have to, first of all, make the fee payment and then fill the registration form.

To pay the application fee, you have to first of all visit the official website and then enter the details like:

  • Full name
  • Mail id
  • Mobile number
  • Date of birth
  • City name which you belongs to

On entering the details you can use debit card/ credit card to pay the fee of Rs. 1100+GST. After you successfully pay the fee, a personal identification details (PID) number will be sent to your mail id. This will enable you to complete the registration process and finally appear for the exam.

However, you must take care that the details entered by you related to personal, contact, and qualification details must be correct and entered in the relevant field.

After you have provided the above details proceed with entering the institute code for reporting of ATMA score and selecting the preferred city to appear for the test. On completing the registration form, take a print out of completed form and keep it safe for future use.

ATMA 2018 Eligibility Criteria

All the applicants appear for the exam must fulfill the eligibility criteria. Any candidate found ineligible even after qualifying the exam will be declared disqualified. Therefore, you must ensure that you satisfy the criteria as mentioned below:

Nationality: You must be an Indian citizen to get admission through ATMA 2018 in one of the participating institutes.

Qualification: You must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination.

  • Your study pattern must be at least 10+2+3 years or 10+2+4 years.
  • If you are appearing for the final semester of the graduation degree, then you are eligible for the exam.

Age Limit: There is no minimum age criterion as set by AIMS for appearing to ATMA 2018.

ATMA 2018 Exam Pattern

If you are appearing for the examination, you must definitely have an idea of marking scheme and the exam pattern of ATMA 2018. This will help you to prepare for the exam more efficiently and score well.

  • Total Questions: 180
  • Total Sections: 6
  • Time Duration: 180 minutes or 3 hours
  • Maximum Marks: 180
  • Question Type: Objective (MCQ) with 4 options

Negative Marking: For every wrong answer marked deduction of 0.25 marks will be done from the total score obtained

For the convenience of applicants an help them prepare for the exam, AIMS provides sample papers for all the candidates to download and practice. This will let the candidate get hang of ATMA 2018 paper for which he/ she is going to appear.

ATMA 2018 Admit Card

After applying for the exam, you will be issued ATMA 2018 admit card on the date stated in the schedule of ATMA AIMS 2018. To download the admit card you have to enter the login details and take a print out of the ATMA Admit Card 2018 issued to you. However, you must ensure that you take two printouts of admit card as one will be submitted to the invigilator and one will be required to be retained by you till the completion of admission process. The admit card will contain important details like:

  • Roll number
  • Your name and address
  • Examination venue
  • Space to paste the photograph

It is advisable to check all the details on the ATMA Exam Admit Card and in case of discrepancy, you must immediately contact ATMA Secretariat and get it corrected. On downloading the admit card you have to affix the passport size photographs on both the admit cards.

While appearing for the ATMA Exam 2018, you have to get invigilators sign on both the copies and submit one to the invigilator and retain other with yourself. It will be required at the time of admission.

Search PID or Password for ATMA 2018

If anyhow you forgot your PID or password, it can be known by clicking on ‘PID or Password’ link available on the official website. On clicking on it, you will be taken to the new page where ATMA 2018 form is available for regaining the PID or password. here you have to select the exam for which you want your PID or password and select the PID/Password.

Now enter the details like:

  • Date of birth
  • Registered mobile number
  • Registered email ID and finally click on ‘Find PID or Password’ button available on the screen. Your details will appear. Note down the details and keep it safe for future use.

Tips and Tricks: All the applicants who are appearing for the exam must ensure that they prepare for the exam properly and stay confident. You must focus on every section of the question paper and learn shortcuts and formulas to solve the questions related to particular topics. Moreover, you can note down important point and use it as a guide for quick reference.

Clear your Concepts: Search for the weak and strong points in each section and start working on it. Spend a little more time on the topics that you find hard and clear the concepts so that you can answer the questions related to it. Learn to manage time as it is key to crack ATMA 2018.
