CAT 2018 Dates confirmed – IIM CAT in its latest notification has confirmed the dates of the Common Aptitude Test. It will take place on November 25, 2018. IIMs Announced The CAT 2018 Date
Following the last year pattern, the exam will be held in the fourth week of November 2018 or the last Sunday of the month. Though it is not clear yet which IIM will conduct the CAT 2018 this year. Last year IIM Lucknow conducted the CAT 2017. This year we can expect that IIM Kozhikode or IIM Calcutta will conduct the CAT 2018. CAT 2018 Notification
In the latest announcement at the official website, CAT 2018 notification is expected to release in the month of July/August 2018. If we see the last year dates, the notification released in the month of July only. Registration started on August 09, 2017. So, candidates can expect the registration around the first week of August 2019 only.

CAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria
In the upcoming notification, we can expect that the eligibility criteria to be same as previous year. Such that candidate must have 50% scores in UG in any stream of Minimum three year graduation Programme. For the reserved categories, there is a relaxation of 5% ie minimum 45% marks. CAT 2018 Exam Pattern
For the candidates who will appear for the CAT first time this year must have a thorough knowledge of the exam pattern. It is an online exam conducted in atleast 140 centers all over India. This exam will test your aptitude and your ability to reason. In this exam, there are three sections based on language, reasoning, and mathematical skills.
Duration of the exam: 3 Hours or 180 minutes
Marking Scheme: 3 marks per question
Negative Marking: 1 mark will deduct for each incorrect answer.
Maximum Marks: 300 Depending upon the number of question
Sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Ability
Number of Questions: 90 (last year) Though they are only tentative, they can even change without any prior notification.

CAT 2018 Test Centers
Last year, CAT 2017 took place in 140 centers all over India. Moreover, while filling the Application Form you have to choose the maximum four preferred centers. This year also we can expect that exam will conduct in atleast 140 centers.
