The Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT 2020) is a national level management entrance examination which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). This national level MBA exam is held for admission to MBA, PGDM, Executive PGDM, PGCM courses in various AICTE approved management colleges. What is NTA?
NTA is National Testing Agency. It is an autonomous exam conducting body which has been created to conduct some major entrance exams such as JEE Main, NEET, GPAT Etc. CMAT 2020 will be conducted by NTA only. This body has been created to relive CBSE, AICTE and other major authorities of the duties of conducting these entrance exams.

CMAT 2020 Preparation Tips
All the management exams are getting competitive with each year. Hence to ace the exam it is required that the students prepare diligently and with some additional preparation tips for it. - Have the information on exactly what all topics shall be asked in the exam. Most of the management exams test students on common topics and there is not much difference in it. Make the list of all those documents.

CMAT 2020 Application Form
The registration process for CMAT 2020 will start online at the official website of NTA. Once the registration for CMAT entrance exam is done, you will receive the login credential through which you can fill the CMAT 2020 Application Form. The complete application process for CMAT 2020 is to be done by online mode only. After filling in necessary details in the CMAT Application Form 2020, the aspirants can pay the requisite amount of the fee by either online or offline mode.
After doing the necessary payments, they shall fill the remaining portion of the form. Before doing the final submission, the candidates shall be able to modify or view the form. After doing the final submission, they shall not be able to modify anything in it. Hence it is advised that the students fill the application form carefully.
CMAT 2020 Application Fee

CMAT 2020 Examination Cities
During the application form filling process, the students have to choose the test city where they want to appear for the exam. Hence it is important that the students have the information about all the test cities and also that they complete the procedure as soon as possible to have their choice as test city for the exam.
CMAT 2020 Admit Card
The admit card for CMAT 2020 is usually available for download a week or two before the commencement of the entrance exam. Only those who will submit their application form with complete payment before the last date will be issued CMAT 2020 Admit Card. To download it you need to enter the necessary login details. It is an important verification document which one must carry to the exam center. It is advised to the candidates to take a print out of the CMAT Admit Card on an A4 size paper.
Since CMAT is a computer based test, you only have to carry the print out of the Admit Card and a valid id proof.
CMAT 2020 Demo Test
A demo test will also be available for the candidates. Through this test, the students will have an idea of how the actual test will look, how they have to attempt the test and what things they should take care of. They are advised to attempt this demo test to have an idea of the test before the main exam.
CMAT 2020 Result
The result of CMAT 2020 will be published online on the official website of NTA. To check the result, the student will have to login to the official website and enter the login details received at the time of the registration. An All India Merit List is also likely to be prepared on the basis of the percentile scored by the candidate in different sections.
CMAT 2020 Tie-Breaking Criteria
In case, two students score same percentile in the CMAT 2020 Exam, the merit shall be determined as per the tie-breaking criteria. Check the expected CMAT 2020 Tie-Breaking Criteria:
- Sectional score in Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation shall be first considered. Whoever scores more percentile in this section will get priority over the other candidate
- If the above is not valid, then the sectional score in Logical Reasoning shall be considered.

- If all of the above is not valid, score in the General Awareness section shall be considered.
CMAT 2020 Cutoff Marks

What after CMAT 2020 Result?
CMAT 2020 Result shall be declared in the form of merit list which shall contain the name and the rank of the student as per the percentile scored by the candidate in the exam. The students shall then have to apply to the colleges based on the marks scored by the student in the exam. The colleges will then call the eligible students for further rounds which include:
- Written Ability Test (WAT)
- Group Discussion (GD)
- Personal Interview (PI)
These tests are conducted to determine the candidate’s knowledge about the current affairs, their personality and the ability to handle difficult and under pressure situations which are the required traits of a future manager. After these rounds, the final result is announced on the basis of which the admissions are offered to the students.
CMAT 2020 Counselling
The CMAT 2020 Counselling shall be conducted after all the rounds have been conducted as mentioned above. The counselling round shall be conducted for admissions to the colleges based on their performance in these rounds.
