GMAT 2020 – Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GATE) is computer-based test. It tests students on the grounds of quantitative, reading, verbal, analytical, writing skills in English. Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) is the conducting body of GMAT. The main purpose of this exam is to provide educational opportunities to students who want to make careers in the business world. After giving the GMAT exam, one can take the admission in MBA programme. The GMAT scores will be valid in all the colleges/institutes which offers the management degree. This examination is conducted 5 times a year and each attempt should in 16 days apart from the previous examination given. GMAT 2020 Exam Pattern
GMAT 2020 will have total 4 sections namely Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, Integrated Reasoning and Analytical Reasoning. GMAT 2020 Syllabus
Quantitative Reasoning: There will be two types of questions in Quantitative Reasoning namely Data Sufficiency and Problem Solving. Students should have knowledge and should prepare about elementary algebra and arithmetic and basic concepts of geometry.
Verbal Reasoning: For this section, candidates will have to prepare about drawing inferences. To prepare for the reading skills a candidate will be tested on the basis of the main idea, supporting idea, application, logical structure and style. The passages in the reading section will test the students on the basis of topics related to humanities, social sciences, biological science or from a business-related field. Students will have to prepare how the they can strengthen the argument which is flawed. For the grammar section, a candidate has to prepare well in advance how to make the sentences structured and how to avoid the grammatical errors.
Integrated Reasoning: For this section, candidates will have to prepare on how to examine and analyze data from graphics, tables, text passages. They should prepare on how to analyze the tables carefully. They should also prepare about how to solve the complex problems which can be quantitative, verbal or both. They should prepare on how to evaluate the trade-offs and discern relationships between two entities. Another major section to prepare is how to analyze the information from graphs and graphical images.
Analytical Writing: To prepare for this section, students need to prepare on how to make an idea well developed and how to present them in an efficient manner.
How to prepare for GMAT 2020?
Candidates can crack GMAT examination with the wise techniques and strategies. It is advised that candidates should start their preparation 3-6 months prior to the examination. Candidates can check the information given below to know about the some basic techniques:
- The first step is to relax in other words, it is important to keep the mind fresh and have ample amount of sleep.
- Candidates should get the directions for their respective test centers so that they can know about their examination centers.
- The most important strategy to crack the examination is to read the questions with full concentration and pay attention to what is asked.
- If and when the candidate is certain about the choice of answer, he/she should select the answer as soon as possible without wasting any time.

GMAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates can check the following information about the minimum requirements for GMAT 2020:

- Candidates should have a graduate degree in hand when they are about to apply for MBA.
GMAT 2020 Registration
Candidates will have to register themselves and make a profile for GMAT which will be comprising of Candidate’s name, nationality of citizen and date of birth. There are few steps which candidates have to follow if they want to give GMAT. The steps for the same are given below:
- Candidate will have to click on the button “Register.”
- Fill in the personal and educational details.
- Verify the profile.
- Select the schedule of the examination whichever is suitable.
- The last step is to pay the fee for the examination.
GMAT 2020 Admit Card
The admit cards for GMAT 2020 will not be available on the official website. Candidates will get a Confirmation Letter after the registration which can be later used as Admit Card/ Entry Ticket. The confirmation letter will be comprising of candidate’s name, test date, time of examination and test centers. After cross-checking every detail in the confirmation letter, take a printout of the letter. Candidates can refer to the following information to know about the list of things which will be mentioned in the confirmation letter:

GMAT 2020 Test Centers
To check the test centers, candidates will have to follow certain steps which are given below:
- Candidates should firstly present the identification.
- Then the next step is to provide the palm vein scan.
- Then candidates will have to provide digital signature.
- Then they have to sit for a digital phtograph.
- Last step is to begin the GMAT exam as soon as all the scanning process is done.
GMAT 2020 Result
Just after the exam is conducted, candidates will receive a list of unofficial test scores as per the marks obtained in Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Integrated Reasoning and total. Candidates will have to decide whether to accept or reject the score just in two minutes. If the time expires, the scores will be automatically cancelled. In the time span of 3 weeks, candidates will receive the official test scores and it will be sent to candidates via e-mail. The official test scores will include certain things apart from the scores obtained in GMAT which are given as follows:
- It will also include the GMAT scores obtained by the students from the last 5 years.
- It will also include personal details of the students like name of the candidate, contact number, date of birth, address so forth and so on.
In the score report, candidates will also notice their percentile rankings for every section. The main purpose of Percentile Ranking is to show the marks scored by all the other candidates which can be further used for drawing comparison.
Enhanced Score Report
The main aim of this report is to show the weaknesses and strengths to the candidates as per scores in each sections. It provides the overall performances in each section, time management ranking, average response time. This section can also be used to compare the marks of all the candidates who have taken this examination from the past 3 years.
GMAT 2020 Selection Procedure
Candidates will have to first register themselves 6 months prior of the actual date of the examination. Candidates can register 24 hours before the test date if a candidate is registering online or by phone. Thus, it is advised that candidates must choose a date at least 21 days before the exam date. After the re-scheduling of fees, test center, date and time of examination, candidates will have to pay the fee and then an e-mail will be sent confirming the registration.
