HBSAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying you must check the eligibility. Below is the complete criteria that need to be fulfilled in order to apply for the exam:

  • You must have Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks from the recognized University
  • If you are in final year of a degree, you are eligible to apply for HBSAT 2018
  • Applicants can be from any course Engineering/ Commerce/ Economics/ Humanities/ Medicine
  • Applicants who have appeared in MAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ XAT/ CAT/ GMAT/ NMAT does not need to appear for HBSAT 2018
  • Foreign as well as NRI applicants can also apply for the exam

HBSAT 2018 Application Form

To fill HBSAT 2018 application form, you have to meet the eligibility criteria and then follow the below-mentioned step by step procedure which will help you to apply in hassle-free manner:

1st Step: To apply you need to click on the direct link to visit the website and fill HBSAT 2018 Application Form.

2nd Step: On the page, you will see a tab ‘Apply Now’ under the heading ‘For Admissions’.

3rd Step: You are going to be redirected to a new page, where you have to select the course for which you wish to apply.

4th Step: As soon as you select ‘MBA’, HBSAT 2018 application form appears on the screen. Now you will be asked to provide the details like:

HBSAT 2018 Exam Pattern

The candidates appearing for the paper will be required to attempt the questions from 5 sections. Each section comprises of 20 question each which accounts for a total of 100 marks. You must attempt the question in the time duration of 90 minutes or 1 hour and 30 minutes. For every correct answer, you are going to be awarded 1 mark and there is no provision of negative marking. It means you can attempt as many questions as you want without worrying about negative marking.

HBSAT 2018 Selection Process

Applicants will be considered based on the many things and criteria as decided by Hyderabad Business School. On the basis of marks obtained in MAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ XAT/ CAT/ GMAT/ NMAT or HBSAT 2018, your name will be added to the list of shortlisted applicants. Education background and work experience are also going to play an important role in your selection process. You will be invited for GD/PI only if you are able to make it to the list of shortlisted applicants.

HBSAT 2018 Admission Process

After GD/ PI rounds candidates will be selected for the admission on the basis of performance in both the rounds. A list of finally selected candidates will be displayed on the official website of GITAM HBS. After the list is released you can check your admission offer. Offer letters for the admission will be dispatched to the address provided by you in the application form. To confirm the admission and book the seat, you have to make the first installment of the fee within 15 days from the day seat is offered to you.

In case you fail to deposit the fee within the said time, your admission shall stand cancelled and the seat will be offered to the next candidate in the waiting list of HBSAT 2018 admission.
