HPCET MBA 2019 Exam Pattern

The Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) for MBA is a pen-paper based test. The exam will be of a duration of 02 hours. The candidates need to solve 100 MCQ questions in this time duration. The distribution of question in each section is as follows:

How To Prepare For HPCET MBA 2019?

Your daily routine can play a huge role in your preparation and eventually in your performance in the entrance exam. Here we have listed a few things you need to pay attention to.

Start Early Preparation

It is always advised to the students to start preparing for the entrance test as early as possible. Every student has his/her own speed for learning. If you will start early preparation for HPCET MBA 2019, you for sure will complete your syllabus early, and then you will have enough time for revision and solving mock tests or previous year question paper or sample papers.

Make a schedule and follow it

You should make a timetable and define both short-term and long-term goals in it. This will help you prepare for the exam earlier than expected. A good timetable not only makes you more disciplined but also helps you get rid of all the distractions. However, this will only be helpful only if you follow the timetable religiously. Try to follow it for 3-4 days and slowly you will be used to it. In the next 4-5 days, you can then change your schedule as per the requirement. Try not to push the tasks for tomorrow which are supposed to be finished today.

Focus on Syllabus

While studying for HPCET MBA, it is important for you to study only the core material of your syllabus. If you are struggling with the unfinished syllabus, concentrate on the core material of the different subjects. Also, you should have an idea about the question pattern of the last few years so that you can prepare well for the exam.

Solve Questions as much as Possible

You should make a habit of solving at least 01 mock test series and 2-3 sample papers every day. Solving question paper will boost up your confidence and furthermore you get an idea of the difficulty level of the exam. It is hard to find the question paper for HPCET MBA, so we would suggest trying to solve previous year CAT question papers. The Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HIMTU) conducts HPCET MBA every year. The Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) is a State Level entrance test which is held for admission in MBA programme in HPTU and colleges affiliated to it. It is an offline based test, i.e., Pen-paper based. The shortlisting of candidates for admission in MBA programme is done on the basis of their merit in the entrance test. The shortlisted candidates will then have to appear for the counselling round(s).
