  • Graduate – Enter Year of Passing, Stream, percentage fo marks.
  • Post Graduate – Enter Year of Passing, Stream, percentage fo marks.
  • Professional (if Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, Company Secretaryship) – Enter of passing or if completed or not.

    • Last date for fresh admissions for all Master, Bachelor, Diploma, Certificate in Korean Language and Culture , Certificate in Japanese Language and Post Graduate Certificate in Acupuncture programmes is 16th August, 2018.
      For 2019 session, dates will be announced soon.

    • Until now, there is no notification on the official website when the application forms will release. The process has been already delayed by months. So, wait for any intimation by IGNOU. You can check this page regularly for the latest updates.

  18. I have completed my graduation in Jun session of 2019.
    Mark sheets and provisional not yet received.i have gradecards in which marks reflected and have more than 3 year supervisory experience. Am I eligible for openmat dec 2019.

      • The registration and login links are same as available on the official website. But all the candidates are facing the problem while login.
        In case you have paid the fee, it will not create any problem. We will inform you soon, as soon as the problem gets cleared.

    • IGNOU didn’t specify the last date for registration on the website. Only the last date to submit the application form has been mentioned.
      Many candidates who are making late registration are not able to login. Refresh the window. In case candidates miss the openmat this time, they can still register for next session.

  24. i did a mistake in my application form and now i want to correct it but it does not allow me to edit . please tell me what should i do

    • If you signed the declaration or have paid the fees, then it is not possible to correct it.
      In case you have not filled the form, then you can fill the fresh form. Application form submission deadline has been extended.

  27. I just apply for openmat xliv ..but I am confused that I have only chance of xliv or I have the chance of xlv also in the same fee that I paid….means can I able give both xliv and xlv in the same fee…

    • IGNOU conducts OPENMAT twice a year. This year, the first session is known as XLIV (44) and the second session is XLV(45). Scores of both sessions are valid for admission.

    I would like to apply for MBA from IGNOU.
    What should I do with the Graduation details in the application form..

    I mean Can I apply before my graduation.

    • You need Minimum 45% score in graduation for reserved category and 50% score for the rest. If you are from the general category, then you are not eligible for the programme.

    • There is no updated information regarding this available on the official website. But looking at the previous year trends, you will able o take admission in January/ July 2019 via XLIV. Through XLV, you will able to take admission in July 2019 or January 2020.

  44. Uploaded Scanned photo in application form by mistake remained very small in size- it is less than 100 kb but visiblity not good- would it get rejected? If so, what should I do?

    • If you have submitted the form then you will not able to correct it. In case you have signed the declaration but not submitted the form then you can fill a new form with a different email id.
