CAT 2018 Conducting Body – The IIM Calcutta is the conducting authority to conduct the CAT this year. Until the last notification, only the exam date was released. The exam will take place on November 25, 2018. For now, it is clear that who is conducting the CAT and when. With the conducting authority announced, we can expect few changes in CAT 2018. There can be changes in the number of question and selection process also. It is still not confirmed whether IIM Calcutta will release any notification regarding changes.

Last year IIM Lucknow did not release any such notification. Though there weren’t any major changes either. IIM Lucknow started the registration process on August 09, 2018. For now, we only know that the official notification regarding CAT 2018 will release in July/ August 2018.

IIM-C to conduct CAT 2018

The announcement of conducting body is an important factor as IIM-C will set question paper and conduct the CAT 2018. The major change we have observed is that it is the first time that exam date has released much before the declaration of official notification.

In our prediction, we took an estimate that either IIM Kozhikode or IIM Calcutta will conduct the CAT 2018. So this year IIM-C took the charge and let’s see what more in there for CAT 2018. For now, we don’t have an official schedule but we can expect that the future events will take place as given below.
