IIM Calcutta Courses
The institute offers many courses for post graduational, doctoral programmes, executive MBA, and research programmes. Candidates after checking the eligibility can apply for these programmes within the specified timeframe.
Fellowship Programme in Management (FPM)
It is the full-time doctoral programme by IIM Calcutta. Admission is through CAT scores in any of the two specializations.
Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM or PGP)
This course is the flagship course of the institute. It is a full two-year residential programme. Candidates can admission through CAT or GMAT scores.
Post Graduate Programme for Executives (PGPEX) – Application Open
This programme is exclusively for the working graduates. Scores of GMAT are accepted for this course.
PGPEX – VLM
This is the executive programme in Visionary Leadership in Manufacturing. for admission in this course, a separate aptitude test is taken by the institute.
Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA)
This is the special programme for the candidates who are especially interested in business analytics. There is a separate written test popularly known PGDBA Admission.
CEMS MIM – Masters in International Management
Students can join this course while doing the PGP course. The CEMS MIM is a one year programme conducted in collaboration with various schools, companies, students, and alumni.
IIM Calcutta Admission 2019
The IIM Calcutta Admission 2019 will start soon after the completion of CAT 2018. For some programmes, admissions are currently going on. In order to take admission in the institute, you must carefully check the eligibility criteria, selection criteria, placement reports etc.
IIM Calcutta Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for admission 2019 in various courses by IIM Calcutta is as follows.
- A bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Candidates must have a minimum aggregate of 50% and 45% in case of SC/ST/PWD students.
- Final year students are also eligible to apply, given that they submit all the documents before December 2019.
PGDBA – Graduation degree in any of the following.
- 10+2+4: Minimum 60% or 6.5 CGPA in BS/B Tech/BE or equivalent Level.
- 10+2+5: Minimum 60% or 6.5 CGPA in Integrated Masters or equivalent level.
- 10+2+3+2: Minimum 60% or 6.5 CGPA in Masters level.
- Valid GMAT scores.
- Minimum 10+2+3 education with a minimum of 5 years of professional work experience.
- A graduate engineer passed in first division.
- Self-sponsored candidates must have an experience between 4.5 years to 10 years.
- Company Sponsored candidates must have minimum 4.5 years of experience.

Candidates after every round of the selection process can check the shortlist at the IIM Calcutta website. For example, after the CAT Examination, the IIM-C will upload the shortlist of the candidates who are selected for the GDPI round.
