IIM Nagpur Admission Criteria 2019 – Indian Institute of Management, Nagpur offers Post Graduate Program in Management (PGP). It offers 120 seats to its eligible candidates. There are 3 stages to its admission criteria, namely Past Academic Performance (PAP), Work Experience (WE), performance in Common Admission Test (CAT), and performance in Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT). A candidate is required to clear the initial stage of IIM Nagpur 2019 Selection process, in order to reach the final stage. Candidates are also required to appear and qualify for each selection round, as mentioned below in order to be eligible for IIM Nagpur Admission Criteria 2019. Finally, a merit list is prepared and released over the official website of the Institute, on the basis of which a candidate get provisional admission by email. Selected candidates are required to pay a seat acceptance fee of Rs. 50,000, which adjust in a candidate’s first-year fee.

1. CAT 2018
Stage 1 – CAT Percentile Score
Candidates need to meet the minimum CAT cut off marks and on the basis of the CAT marks secured by a candidate, the first selection of candidates is made. From below, candidates can view and accordingly check the minimum scores requirement in each of the 3 sections, namely Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation & Verbal, and Reading Comprehension of Logical Reasoning, along with the Overall percentile.
No candidate shall be allowed for IIM, Nagpur admission without a valid CAT score.

Stage 2 – PA (WAT & PI)
After clearing Stage 1, a candidate needs to clear the Stage 2 Personal Interview(PI) and Written Ability Test(WAT). Candidates get shortlisted on the basis of the Past Academic Performance(PAP), Work Experience(WE) and Diversity (DI).
- Past Academic Performance – Under this criteria, a candidate’s academic performance is taken into consideration and further graded either “A”, “B” or “C” on the basis of the percentage secured. The formula to calculate the Past Academic Performance, is as follows:
PAP Score = (0.25*A+0.35*B+0.40*C)
Note that, marks secured in Class 10, Class 12 and graduation level is considered, as per the table mentioned below.

- Work Experience(WE) – For the work experience gained by a candidate, he or she is allotted a score. A candidate can calculate their WE score, by allotting the following marks as per the full-time experience gained by them. Note that, Part-time/Project/Internship/ CA Articleship /Pre-graduation work experience is not considered to estimate WE scores.

- Diversity(DI) – Based on the gender and the bachelor’s degree, a candidate’s diversity score shall be estimated. The diversity score will be calculated out of the total marks of 10. Out of which, 5 marks will be given to gender diversity and other 5 marks to the bachelor’s degree.
Gender – 0 for male, 5 for female, and 5 for transgender candidates.
UG Degree – 5 points for candidates with bachelor’s degree in any of the following: BA, BA(H), B.Sc, B.Sc.(H), BS, B.Com, B.Com(H), BCA, BBA, B.Pharma, LL.B, MBBS, BDS or any other Non-Engineering subject areas at the Bachelor’s level.
Stage 3 – Calculation of Final Score
After having appeared for Personal Interview and Written Ability Test Round, conducted by IIM, Nagpur, he or she is finally selected on the basis of the final score, obtained by him or her. The formula to estimate the Final Score has been mentioned below:
Final Score = 0.35* (PI Score) + 0.05*(WAT Score) + 0.20* (CAT Score) + 0.20 * (PAP Score) + 0.20 * (WE Score)
On the basis of the merit list prepared and released by the authorities, ranks are allotted. And admission shall be provided on this ground. Separate category candidates can find separate merit list, released by IIM, Nagpur. All the merit lists is released over the official website i.e www.iimnagpur.ac.in, after the interviews have been held in the month of May 2019.
