Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal is going to conduct JEMAT 2018 examination on behalf of the Government of West Bengal. Candidates who wish to apply can fill the application form until May 08, 2018. The state-level JEMAT 2018 Exam Date is expected to conduct on May 19, 2018. Qualified candidates will be offered admission to various MBA or PGDM level programmes in the colleges of the state. The entire JEMAT 2018 procedure is held online however, the exam is conducted in pen and paper mode only.
After JEMAT 2018 candidates will have to attend GD/PI and qualify it to consider themselves eligible for the admission. The official announcement has been released regarding the dates of JEMAT 2018. JEMAT 2018 exam dates have been updated below according to the official notification. The exam is going to be conducted only at the campus of MAKAUT, West Bengal.

JEMAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants who will satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria as mentioned by MAKAUT will be considered for JEMAT 2018. All other applications may stand canceled. The candidates who are appearing in the final examination of graduation are also eligible to apply.
The minimum qualification for admission to MBA/MHA/AICTE approved PG diploma programmes is a Bachelors degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Engineering/ Technology/ Medical / Dental/ Agriculture or other professional courses from recognized universities.
JEMAT 2018 Application Process
- After opening the application form page, enter the required details like personal details, educational qualification details, contact details etc.
- After filling the details, recheck the data entered and click on ‘SUBMIT’ to move forward.
- Upload your recent stamp size photograph, preferably with a white background and size between 20 to 50 KB.
- Similarly, upload your signature done on white paper with blue/black ink. The preferable size is 10 to 20 KB.
- Check your uploaded image/signature once and look if it is clearly visible. Upload again if required and Proceed forward.
- Before clicking the declaration, recheck all the data mentioned and click on ‘SUBMIT’.
- You will be given an application number and password on Email id/ SMS. Retain the same for future references.
- Click on the ‘Payment of Fess’ tab and enter the required information.
- After submitting the application fee, your online application process will be completed.
Note: Candidates are required to send the hard copy of the application form along with qualification certificates and fees payment proof. The same needs to be sent to the university by speed post/ courier/ by hand so as to reach on or before May 10, 2018. If applicable, the candidate also needs to send the reservation certificates, letter of sponsorship also.

JEMAT 2018 Admit Card
On successful registration, admit card for the exam will be issued after the process is over.To get access to JEMAT 2018 admit card, you have to use JEMAT login and enter the application number and password which was generated at the time of registration. Thereafter, you can download the hall ticket. Check all the details in admit card and ensure there is no mistake in it. In case of error get it rectified. With the help of JEMAT 2018 admit card, you will be able to appear for the exam in the exam center that is allotted to you as stated on the card.
JEMAT 2018 Exam Pattern
The exam is going to be conducted in pen and paper mode. You have to appear for the offline exam to attempt the total of 100 questions in the time duration of 2 hours or 120 minutes. The entire paper is going to be of objective type and all you have to do is mark the responses on the OMR sheet. Each question in JEMAT 2018 is going to be of 1 mark. However, there is also a provision of negative marking. For every wrong response marked you will be awarded -0.25 marks which are going to be deducted from the total marks obtained by you.

JEMAT 2018 Syllabus
The syllabus of JEMAT 2018 is not vast but yes, you need the dedication to complete the syllabus in order to score high in the examination. The topics included are simple.

JEMAT 2018 Result
Once JEMAT 2018 exam is held successfully, MAKAUT is going to announce the Result officially. The result is going to be released in the form of merit list and you have to check your merit status using the merit list released. Search for your name and roll number and you will come face to face with the merit status.
After checking the merit status, you can use JEMAT login to access the scorecard. It will have all the details related to your exam. You will come to know the marks scored by you in JEMAT 2018 exam along with your rank. You must take a print out of it to be used during the selection process.
JEMAT 2018 Merit List
A merit list is going to be prepared after the announcement of result. This merit list is for the candidates who have scored minimum cut off marks and are eligible for GD/PI rounds. On the basis of your marks in JEMAT 2018 your name in the list is going to be placed.
JEMAT 2018 Selection Process
The candidates who have appeared in JEMAT 2018 have to now participate in the group discussion where you will be allotted a topic which needs to be discussed for approximately 10 minutes among the group member. Your leadership skills, interpersonal skills, communication ability, knowledge on a topic, ability to think quickly and more will be evaluated.
Thereafter, you have to appear for the personal interview round. There are no marks for this round still it plays an important role during the selection, as your personality, confidence and various other skills are put to test during PI.
After the selection process, a merit is going to be released officially, containing the name of applicants who have qualified selection process. You have to know appear for counseling round for seat allotment along with all the documents to support your eligibility and information provided in the JEMAT 2018 registration form. You can now take the admission to MBA/PGDM courses to succeed in life.
