In the last session, Albert J Andoor achieved the first rank after scoring 493 out of 716 marks. In total, 8597 candidates qualified. Universities/Departments and affiliated management colleges accept KMAT Kerala 2019 scores for admission in the academic year 2019-21. Candidates can also take admission via CAT/ CMAT scores. Such candidates can directly fill the forms of the management institutes.

KMAT Kerala 2019 Admit Card
The KMAT Kerala 2019 Admit Card has been released on the official website at kmatkerala.in. Candidates can download the hall ticket using the login credentials ie Application Number and Password. On the examination day, you need to carry the hard copy of a admit card and a photo identity proof. Additionally, candidates must carry stationery items as mentioned on the instructions written on the hall ticket.
Last year, the exam took place in 21 centers at 10 districts of Kerala. In the latest notice, the exam conducts in Kerala, UT of Lakshadweep, Chennai, Mangalore, Bangalore, and Coimbatore. In case there are less than 100 candidates in a city, then candidates may get the center in the nearby city.
KMAT Kerala 2019 Exam Pattern

- The total duration of the exam is 150 minutes.
- There is no sectional limit in the exam.

- All the questions are Multiple Choice or Objective type (MCQs) problems.
- In total, there are 180 questions in the exam.
- For every correct answer, there is an addition of four marks.
- For every incorrect answer, there is a negative marking of -1 marks.
- The maximum marks of the exam are 720.

Section Wise Preparation for KMAT Kerala 2019
Here are the few tips for each section of the exam. Candidates can modify these tips according to their preparation and topics they are targeting.
English Language Usage and Reading Comprehension
- For the misspelled type questions, you can refer the spelling book of Norman Lewis. Also, taking past year questions will also help to practice the same.
- For word meanings, read from different sources. For active and new words read newspapers, magazines etc. To check the words in one go, you can refer to English books having good quality word meanings. Also, for each word meaning, also check their synonyms and Antonyms.
- Prepare Jumbled sentences via practicing as much question as possible. Try to check the fluency, flow, and most importantly if the sentences are making sense.
- For direct/ indirect and Passive/ Active voice, the key is to revise the formulas and practice them.
- Reading comprehension is easy in this exam, just required good comprehending skills.
- For miscellaneous topics, take a good book having a list of one-word substitution, idioms etc.
For this section, nothing is better than gaining a deep understanding of the topics. First, go through all the topics and start taking the sectional test. Once you start practicing, you will get the hold of topics soon. In the exam, questions are not much tricky, learning all the formulas well will help to solve 80% of questions.
Data Sufficiency and Logical Reasoning
Fo this section also, learn topic-by-topic. Most importantly, solve atleast 50 questions from each topic. Give special attention to statement-conclusion type questions, complete the series etc.
For this section, nothing is better than reading newspapers daily. Note down the important points in the notebook and revise them frequently. Also, read questions from static GK from books author Arihant or Book “Lucent”.

Create a Time Table
- First, divide the syllabus into two parts. One having topics which are unknown to you and second with topics about which you have the idea.

KMAT Kerala 2019 Answer Key
The exam conduction body releases the KMAT Kerala 2019 Answer key within one day after the examination. It contains all the correct answers for all the 180 questions. Candidates can use the key to calculate their raw scores. On the basis of cut off mentioned below, candidates can check if they are qualifying the exam or not.
In case, there is an error in the KMAT Kerala 2019 answer key, then candidates raise the objection within the last date. After analyzing all the doubts, the final answer key releases with the result. This key is final and no further communication in this regard is entertained.

KMAT Kerala 2019 Selection Process

KMAT Kerala 2019 Application Form
KMAT Kerala 2019 Registration is a six-step process. Which includes registration, application form, fee payment, exam center details, uploading of documents, and print out of confirmation page. For KMAT Kerala 2019, candidates need to pay the fees just after the registration process. Only after payment of fees, students will able to complete the further steps.
In the first step of registration, candidates have to provide a valid email and category. Since the registration fee varies for a different category, students must enter the correct category. Even more, applicants must upload the photograph and signature in the correct format only. Also, you can select a maximum of three exam center according to your preference.

- Graduation – Candidates must have a bachelor degree of a minimum of three years from any recognized university.
