The University of Kerala will conduct the KMAT Kerala 2020. It is state level entrance test which is held twice a year for admissions to the management courses in the state of Kerala. KMAT Kerala 2020 Application Procedure
After checking the eligibility criteria, the aspirants of this exam should move on to the application form section. It is an important thing which should not be missed out at any cost. It shall be filled online from the official website of KMAT. The candidates have to first make the payments for the exam. They will have to enter some basic details such as name, phone number, E-Mail etc. The payment can be done through any of the means as mentioned below. After the successful payment, they shall get a unique reference number.
With this number, they will have to login to the website and complete the application form. They will have to enter various other details such as educational qualification details, other personal details etc. They should ensure that they fill the form correctly. At this point, a unique Application Number shall be generated and displayed on the top of the page. They should note down this number since it will be used for the downloading the admit card as well as for future references.
In the next step, the candidate has to upload the photograph and the signature. It should be ensured that both the documents are of the mentioned sizes. They can submit the form after doing the editing in the application as and when required. They should note that no editing shall be possible after the final submission.
KMAT Kerala 2020 Application Fee
The students must have been clear that they have to pay an application fee to be eligible for appearing in the exam. Without paying the fee, the student will not be eligible to get the admit card and appear for the exam. As per the past trends, the application fee category wise is as given below:
- General- Rs 1000
- SC/ST – Rs 750
The above fee can be paid through the following means:
- Net banking
- Credit Card
- Debit Card facility of any bank.
After paying the fee successfully, the students shall get an SB Collect Reference Number’ and a receipt of fee payment. The complete process is expected to remain the same for year 2020 as well. They are advised to take a printout of the online receipt.
KMAT Kerala 2020 Admit Card
After the application process is over, the KMAT Kerala 2020 Admit Card shall be released by the conducting body. It shall be released for those applicants who completed the application procedure along with the payment on time. It will be available online only by logging to the official website and entering the details as asked. It will contain important details like:
- Candidate’s Name
- Date of Birth
- KMAT Kerala 2020 Exam Date and Time
- Address of Exam Centre
Those who shall appear for the exam must note that they will have to bring one photo identity proof as well on the day of the exam along with the admit card of KMAT Kerala 2020. They will not be allowed to appear for the exam if it found that they do not have the required documents with them.
KMAT Kerala 2020 Answer Key
The answer key for KMAT Kerala 2020 shall be released after the exam has been conducted. It shall be a provisional answer key. It is beneficial for the students in many ways. Firstly, the students will be able to calculate their provisional total marks which they have scored in the exam. For this, the students should read the marking scheme from above which we have given.
Secondly, they will be allowed to raise objections to the answer key. They will have to send the proofs of the questions which they are challenging to the concerned authorities. It should be ensured that the students submit the challenges before the last date. After the last date, the requests of the students for the same shall not be accepted under any circumstances.
KMAT Kerala 2020 Answer Key Challenge
Those students who shall give the KMAT Kerala 2020 shall be able to check the answer key for KMAT Kerala 2020. If they feel that the answer to any of the questions is incorrect, they can raise the objections to those questions. They will have to report all those objections to the conducting body well before the last date.
The conducting body will gather a panel of experts which will come to the final solution after considering all the objections which the students shall send. After the final answer key has been released, no objections shall be entertained and the final KMAT Kerala 2020 Result shall be declared.
KMAT Kerala 2020 Cutoff Marks
The students who wish to take admissions to the MBA Colleges of Kerala through KMAT Kerala 2020 Score will have to score the minimum cutoff marks in the exam to secure a place in the merit list. This is different for all the categories. Check the previous year cutoffs for KMAT Kerala Exam. It is expected that for the year 2020, the cutoffs shall remain the same.

The students must know one important thing about the scoring for KMAT Kerala 2020. They should know that if the student scores in decimals, then there shall be no roundoff of the marks. For ex- a score of 107.9 out of 720 will not be considered as 108. Similarly 71.9 out of 720 or 53.9 out of 720 will not be considered for qualifying cut off for the relevant category given above.
KMAT Kerala 2020 Result
KMAT Kerala 2020 Result shall be declared after all the objections raised by the students, has been accepted by the exam authority and the final answer key of KMAT Kerala 2020 has been released. It will be available on the official website of KMAT. The result shall be declared in the form of scorecard.
The eligible students shall log in to the candidate portal and enter details such as reference number and the password to download the scorecard of KMAT Kerala 2020. It will contain details such as the name of the student, marks in all the sections and other such details. They can download the scorecard till the admission process is conducted. After that it will not be available. The students are advised to keep the scorecard safe with them until the counselling gets over.
What after KMAT Kerala 2020 Result?
The result of KMAT Kerala 2020 shall be declared in the form of a scorecard. With the help of KMAT Kerala 2020 Scorecard, the student shall be able to take admission to any of the colleges of Kerala. To take admission, it is important that the students have secured the minimum cutoff marks in the exam as mentioned above.
After the result announcement, other processes shall be conducted which include Group Discussion and the Personal Interview. The ratio of marks which shall be considered for the admission purpose will be in the ratio of 80:10:10 which is for Entrance Examination, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. After this, the final admission shall be conducted.
