MAT 2019

MAT 2019: The admit card for MAT 2019 has been issued for 17 Feb Exam. It is downloadable at aima.in using the registration number and date of birth. The registration for MAT 2019 February session CBT mode is open until 18 Feb. Candidates must submit the MAT 2019 Application Form before the last date in order to get the hall ticket. After this session, the Management Aptitude Test will conduct in three more sessions in the month of May, September, and December. MAT 2019

While calculating the MAT 2019 score or percentile, AIMA does not consider the general awareness section. So scoring takes place out of maximum marks of 160. The difficulty level of the exam is moderate to difficult. More than 200+ well-known B-schools accepts the exam score.

About MAT 2019

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is one of the most standard tests for the candidates who are looking to take admission in Management courses. Any student who is looking forward to getting the admission in management course they have to clear the MAT Exam. For any new academic year, MAT takes place in four-sessions. You can appear for any of these to use the scores to take admission in MAT associated b-schools.

From the september 2018 session, AIMA conducts 2 times PBT and 1 time CBT exam. The second PBT known as Phase 2 takes plcae with CBT exam on the same day.

MAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria

This is also a very important section. Applicants must appear for the exam only after checking the eligibility of the exam. Though AIMA does not mention detailed criteria for the admission. This is the basic eligibility required, in order to appear for the exam. For the admission in MAT 2019 accepting colleges, you have to visit the particular college and check its detailed eligibility there. Candidate can check the eligibility criteria from below:

  • The candidate must be graduate from any recognized university.
  • Students who are in last year of examination can also apply.

MAT 2019 Application Form

All the applicants who want to appear for the examination can fill the application form online in the 45-60 days window. To fill the application form online, you need to required to visit the official website of MAT 2019. First of all, register with email id and phone number to get the login credentials. On successful registration, fill the application form. You have to enter the personal, educational, and work experience details in it.

MAT 2019 Application Form

After completing MAT 2019 application form process, you need to upload scanned images of your photograph and signature. Then, proceed with application fee payment using credit card/ debit card/ net banking. On successful submission of the form and payment, take a print out of it and keep it safe for future correspondence.

Importantly, in the application form, candidates can choose a maximum of 5 Management Institutes(MI). Students who are applying for both the modes can apply for 7 MI. In addition to that test-takers can choose more MI’s by paying Rs 118/- per MI choice.

You must ensure that all the details filled in the application form are correct. As you may not able to change them later. Though according to the official website, candidates will able to edit basic details in the form post submission. 

Note: Before applying for any institute make sure that particular institutes accept MAT scores. There are some cases, where an institute is recognized by AIMA but refuses to take admission via exam score.

Application Fee for MAT 2019

The application fee for PBT and CBT mode is different. The application fee for MAT 2019 is as follows.

  • PBT or CBT: Rs 1550/-
  • Both PBT and CBT: Rs 2650/-

MAT 2019 Exam Pattern

It is an objective type test with Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs). The MAT 2019 exam pattern contains four different sections with a different number of questions.

  • Types of questions – MCQ having four options each
  • Medium of the Exam – The test will take place in English language only.
  • Total Number of Questions – There are 200 questions in the exam.
  • Marking Scheme – 1 mark for every correct answer and -0.25 for an incorrect answer.
  • Number of sections – There are a total of 5 sections in the exam.
  • Duration of Exam – Candidates have to complete the exam in 150 minutes or 2.5 hours.

MAT 2019 Admit Card

After the application process is over, AIMA releases admit card for MAT Exam 2019. It publishes for all the applicants who have registered before the last date and paid an application fee. To download MAT 2019 admit card, enter your application number, date of birth and email id. It is mandatory to download the admit card as it will not be sent via post or mail. Also, you will not get the entry inside the examination hall without it. You must strictly follow the instructions provided on admit card and reach the exam hall well in time.

The admit card for PBT and CBT releases on the different dates. So, the respective schedule for MAT Exam 2019 admit card publish officially. Following that, you will able to download it accordingly. This year PBT and CBT will take place in 54 and 31 cities respectively.

On successful completion of an examination, you will be able to check your MAT 2019 result from AIMA MAT website. To check the result you will be required to enter the login credentials and download MAT 2019 scorecard. The scorecard issued will contain the marks obtained by you in each section, section-wise percentile and overall percentile. It is a necessary document while appearing for the selection process in the institutions.

In case, you lose the scorecard a duplicate scorecard can be requested by sending a written request along with the copy of admit card on the address mentioned in the brochure.

      If you give MAT Feb or May 2019, then you will able to take admission this year for session 2019-21. Though it depends on the selection process of a particular college that they are accepting the MAT score for which session. You must visit the university official website for this.
