The All India Management Association (AIMA) has released the MAT September 2018 Result. The result for both the PBT & CBT has been released. Students enter the application form number and roll number to check the result. The exam was scheduled to take place on September 15, 2018. MAT September 2018

MAT 2018 Results

After the conduction of entrance examination, candidates have received the marks scored and the percentile. The qualified candidates will have to attend the interviews of the colleges they have applied into. Candidates must note that Validity of the MAT score is for the particular session for most MI’s is one year.

The results can be checked from the official website. Now they have started the facility to receive the results via the SMS service which is applicable to all Phone Operators.

MAT 2018 Admit Card

The admit card for both the offline and online based test will release separately. As of for now, the admit card for PBT has been issued online. The Hall Tickets is available on the AIMA website after their official announcement. There will be a specific admit cards generated for both offline and online based test. Candidates should strictly follow the exam centers and timings given on the admit card. It will also contain important details like Candidate’s Name, Form No, Roll No, Test Date, Test Time and Test Venue Address etc.

Test timings

The offline based conducts usually at 10:00 AM -12:30 PM. While online computer based test in different time slots at specific test venues according to the number of candidates registered.

MAT September 2018 Eligibility Criteria

To appear for the entrance examination it is necessary that you clear the eligibility criteria for the exam. So carefully read the criteria set by the Board. Only after this start the application process to attempt the MAT September 2018.

  • Minimum qualification: Graduation in any discipline from any recognized University or equivalent recognized degree.
  • Final Year Students:  Any undergraduate (i.e. B.A, B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech., etc) can also appear provisionally.
  • Minimum Percentage: The criteria is different for different Management institutes or University.
  • Age Limit: There is no age bar.

Note: Check the eligibility of particular management institutes also.

MAT September 2018 Application Process

The registration for the MAT September 2018 has been started on June 30, 2018. Candidates have to fill the application form online. You should ensure that you fill all the details correctly, any changes future will not be allowed.

Registration

First of all, you need to register yourself via providing your basic personal information. You have to enter your Name, Date of Birth, email, mobile number, and password. Click on “submit” after filling all the details.

Ready the following documents before start filling the application form.

  • Valid Email ID (the email should be valid for at least 1 year)
  • Educational Certificates
  • Image of a scanned photograph and signature in jpg/jpeg format. Size should be between 5 KB to 50 KB.
  • Debit / Credit Card/Net Banking details in case making an online payment.

Once you have all your information, Login using the registered id and password. Then, upload your digital documents, fill the required details and pay the fees. Download the application form for future reference.

Application Fee

Since candidates have two option to appear for the test. So, opt for either paper-based or computer-based test. If you want you can appear for both modes also.

  • For PBT or CBT: Rs 1550/-
  • Both PBT and CBT: Rs 2650/-

After knowing your eligibility criteria it is important you know the exam pattern before starting your preparation. The exam will contain multiple choice questions of four options each. There will be a total 200 question with a maximum duration of 150 minutes. In the exam, it is important to focus on your accuracy along with your speed.

Marking Scheme: 1 mark awarded for each correct question

Negative Marking: 0.25 mark for every incorrect answer

Mode of Examination: Pen & Paper based and Computer-based

Language of Test:  The exam will conduct in English only.

Language Comprehension: English Grammar-based questions; English Proficiency; Fill in the Blanks, Para jumble, Reading Comprehension.

Intelligence and Critical Reasoning: Fact Inference Judgment, Passage Conclusion, Analogy, Statement Argument among others.

Mathematical skills: Elementary Mathematics; Arithmetic:- Number System, Ratio and Proportion, Mixtures and Allegation; Unitary Method; Time and Distance; Commercial Maths; Profit and Loss, Interest; Geometry; Triangles, Circles; Mensuration; Algebra Permutation and Combinations; Sequence And Series; Trigonometry Heights and Distance; Linear Programming; Coordinate Geometry.

Data Analysis and Sufficiency: Table; Data Sufficiency; graphs (line, area), charts (column, bar, pie), Venn diagram among others.

Indian and Global Environment: Economics, finance, national and international current affairs. There are many other topics on which questions are asked in the MAT 2018 question paper in this section. Questions are also based on conventional GK

MAT 2018 Sample Paper

Practicing sample paper is always helpful, as you analyze the paper pattern and difficulty level of it. This sample is issued by AIMA only. So you can rely on the authenticity of the question given in the sample paper. Do the questions in the set time period and check it yourself. Find which are weak areas and try to improve them before the examination day.

About MAT

All the examinations of MAT take place in online and offline mode under the conducting body AIMA. Since 1998 It is conducting exams to screen candidates to take admission in one of the B-schools covering under it. It is an objective type test designed and developed to ascertain the aptitude of the candidates to undergo Post Graduate Programme in Management.  It is a direct ticket to secure a seat in 600 colleges across India. All MIs participating in MAT are either AICTE, DEC approved University College and Departments.
