MBA CET 2019 CAP/ Counselling: State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra is conducting the MBA CET Counselling 2019 in the month of June. MBA CET 2019 CAP/ Counselling

The counselling for MBA CET takes place in three rounds. Candidates have to complete all the steps of any round to securely confirm their admission.

MBA CET 2019 CAP Eligibility

Candidates who are aspiring to take admission to b-schools of Maharashtra via counseling process must check the eligibility criteria. Aspirants must check the criteria as per the type of candidature.

Eligibility for All India, Maharashtra, J & K candidates

  • Nationality – Applicants must be an Indian national.
  • Education  – A minimum of three-year graduation degree from the recognized university.
  • Minimum Qualifying marks – Candidates must have atleast 50% marks in graduation degree. Reserved category students must have a minimum of 45% marks. The seats are reserved for backward class and PwD from the Maharashtra state only.
  • Acceptable Scores MBA CET 2019/ CAT/ GMAT/ MAT/ ATMA/ XAT/ CMAT.

Eligibility for NRI/ OCI/ PIO/ FN/ CIWGC

  • Education  – A minimum of a 3-year degree from the university recognized by UGC or AIU.
  • Marks  – A minimum of 50% marks in graduation degree.

MBA CET 2019 CAP Process Explained

MBA CET 2019 CAP Registration Fee

Candidates must pay the applicable amount to get their name listed in the admission process. Students who have already applied for MBA CET 2019 do not have to register again. Whereas, if you are applying via national level entrance exams then the registration fee is as follows.

Note: Candidates who have applied via reserved category but fails to produce to required documents have to submit extra Rs 200/- at FC. Their candidature will not be canceled.

MBA CET 2019 CAP Registration

In order to participate in MBA CET CAP round, candidates must register online at the official website. The simple steps to apply for MBA CET 2019 CAP is available below. Importantly, students who are applying via Maharshatra and also All India candidate must apply separately for each type.

  • First, visit the official website and click on New Registration.
  • Second, fill all the details as applicable.
  • Last, upload the photograph and signature to submit the application form.

MBA CET 2019 CAP Option Filling

As per the MBA CET seat matrix and candidates’ rank, you have to fill the choice of colleges. This facility opens at candidates’ login in the scheduled window. Also, choice once submitted can’t be canceled, updated or changed.

Provisional Seat Allotment

After the online registration and choice filling, candidates have to download the provisional seat allotment letter. This shows the confirmation of allotted seat to you. Further, pay the seat allotment fee of Rs 1000/- which is the same for all candidates. You have to submit it at ARC through online mode. Also, students have to pay the acceptance fee at first reporting only. Importantly, it is a non-refundable fee.

MBA CET 2019 CAP Document Verification

After the successful registration and document uploading, candidates must appear for document verification round at the designated Facilitation Centre (FC). So, take these documents with you on the verification day. J & K Migrant/NRI/PIO/OCI/CIWGC/FN candidates must post these documents at the address that will be issued by DTE later.

Special Instructions for Reserved Category

OBC students must produce Non-Creamy Layer certificate valid up to March 31, 2020. In case you fail to produce any of these documents, then candidature is considered as General Category.

  • Caste Validity Certificate – SC, OBC, VJ/DT (NT (A), NT (B), NT(C), NT (D), and SBC category students must produce this certificate.
  • Tribe Validity Certificate – ST students must produce this document at the time of verification.

MBA CET 2019 CAP Seat Confirmation at ARC

Candidates have to produce all the documents along with acceptance fee at ARC. After the verification, ARC confirms the seat allotment of the student. It will put a stamp with date & Signatures on all the copies of the document and returns to the student. Also, remember to take Receipt –cum-Acknowledgement of the application form.

Q. What if I fails to confirm the online filled application form at FC?

A. In that case, candidates applicant will be canceled and you will not be eligible for the further rounds. Similarly for students who fail to send the documents in time.

Q. Will I get an Internet facility at FC?

A. Yes, you can use an internet facility to upload documents, scanning etc.

Q. How will I know my Facilitation Centre (FC)?

A. The same gets uploaded on the official website. They are open all days of the week between 10.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.
