MBA CET 2019 – The Maharashtra MBA Common Entrance Test (MBA CET) also known as MAH MBA CET 2019. The CET cell of Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra conducts MBA CET. The exam is a state level entrance test for admission to MBA & MMS Programme in the colleges of Maharashtra. The MAH CET 2019 is a computer-based test consisting of 200 Multiple Choice Questions with a time limit of 150 minutes. The Registration for MBA CET will start in the third week of January 2019. After the conduction of the exam, the MBA CET Result will announce in the form of scorecard cum rank card. Following that online counseling process will commence according to the order of merit. MBA CET 2019
MBA CET 2019 will conduct in March 2019 online 49 cities in a two-day window. Usually, on Saturday and Sunday of the second week of March. Last year, the exam was conducted on 10th March (Saturday) & 11th March (Sunday), 2018. So, it is expected that MBA CET 2019 Date is 9th March (Saturday) & 10th March (Sunday), 2019.
MBA CET 2019 Exam Date – Candidate must ensure that they strictly follow the test timings and venue. If a candidate fails to appear on the exam day, he/ she will not be allowed to appear for the exam in any other session.

What is the Difference Between MBA CET and CAT?
Many of our readers were asking us to explain the difference between Maharashtra CET and CAT.
Maharashtra MBA Common Entrance Test is conducted for admission in the colleges of Maharashtra state only. Candidates who appear for it and qualify the exam by scoring minimum cut off will be considered for the admission in state colleges only.
On the other hand, the Common Admission Test (CAT) is an online test which is conducted across India. An applicant who scores minimum cut off will be eligible for admission in all participating colleges and institutes across India. Many colleges all over India accept CAT score for admission in MBA programs.
MBA CET 2019 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants applying for MBA CET 2019 must fulfill basic eligibility criteria to appear for the exam. Failing to meet the eligibility will lead to disqualification of candidature. - Qualification – Applicant must have completed at least 3 years of Bachelor’s degree in any field. Candidate must have appeared in final year exam of Bachelor’s degree.
- University – The University must be recognized by the University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities.
- Reservation – Candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying education. However, 5% relaxation is there for candidates belonging to the Reserved or PWD category.

The MAH CET 2019 consists of 200 questions. So, you have merely 1.33 minutes for each question. Thus, it is necessary for you to manage your time well in the exam. For this, you can attempt English section which will take the maximum of 20 minutes.

Registration – An applicant needs to register as a new user on the registration portal. While registering for MAH CET 2019, the candidate must provide a valid contact number and email for further communication. Online Application Form – Candidates who wish to appear for the MBA CET 2019 will need to fill online application form by visiting the website, dtemaharashtra.gov.in. Document Uploading – Every applicant needs to upload the scanned copy of photograph and signature in the specified format and size only. Failing of which, a form will be considered incomplete.

MBA CET 2019 Admit Card
All the candidates who have successfully filled the MBA CET 2019 application form will receive online hall ticket in the fourth week of February 2018. Candidate will able to download MAH CET 2019 hall ticket after clicking the active link on the official website. On the login, page candidates have to enter the login credentials which are Registration Number/ Roll Number and Password/ Date of Birth. After downloading the hall ticket, candidates must paste passport size photograph on the space provided for it.
Keep this hall ticket safe as you will need it to appear for MBA CET 2019. If a candidate is unable to show hall ticket when asked at the time of examination, then they will not get the entry to give the test. The exam will take place in 36 and 13 cities in Maharashtra and outside Maharashtra respectively.

MAH MBA CET 2019 Centralized Admission Process(CAP)
Once the result is available, the CAP round will start online at the official website of DTE Maharashtra. For the MBA CET 2019 CAP process candidates have to log in with the specified time period. After that counseling round will commence on the basis of merit, colleges selected by the students, number of seats available etc. Aspirants will have the option for seat locking and freezing.
