MBA CET 2019 – Maharashtra MBA Common Entrance Test, commonly called as, MAH MBA CET 2019. The CET cell of Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra conducts this state level entrance test. Through MBA CET 2019 entrance test candidates can admission in MBA and MMS courses, offered by the state colleges. MAH CET 2019 will take place in the first week of March. MAH MBA CET 2019 will conduct in March 2019 online in various sessions. Candidate must ensure that they strictly follow the test timings and venue. If a candidate fails to appear on the exam day, he/ she will not be allowed to appear for the exam in any other session. The expected dates for MAH MBA CET 2019 are as follows:

What is the Difference Between MAH MBA CET and CAT?

Many of our readers were asking us to explain the difference between Maharashtra CET and CAT.

Maharashtra MBA Common Entrance Test is conducted for admission in the colleges of Maharashtra state only. Candidates who appear for it and qualify the exam by scoring minimum cut off will be considered for the admission in state colleges only. On the other hand, Common Admission Test (CAT) is an online test which is conducted across India. An applicant who scores minimum cut off will be eligible for admission in all participating colleges and institutes across India. Many colleges all over India accept CAT score for admission in MBA programs. On the other hand, MAH MBA CET score is accepted by colleges only in Maharashtra state.

MBA CET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants applying for MAH MBA CET 2019 must fulfill basic eligibility criteria to appear for the exam. Failing to meet the eligibility will lead to disqualification of candidature. Below we have mentioned the details of eligibility criteria laid down by DTE, Maharashtra. Let’s have a look:

  • Applicant must have completed at least 3 years Bachelor’s degree in any field. Candidate must have appeared in final year exam of Bachelor’s degree.
  • The University must be recognized by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities.
  • Candidate must have secured minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying education. However, 5% relaxation is there for candidates belonging to Reserved or PWD category.

MBA CET 2019 Application Form

Candidates who wish to appear for the exam will be able to fill online application form by visiting the website, An applicant needs to register as a new user on the registration portal. While registering, the candidate must provide valid contact number and email for further communication. Also, note down the registration number and password generated during the process.

Note: Every applicant is required to upload the scanned copy of photograph and signature in the specified format and size only. Failing of which, a form will be considered incomplete.

Application Fee

Candidate needs to make the payment of examination fee to complete the application process. You must pay the fee via online using Credit Card, Debit Card, Internet Banking, Cash Cards, IMPS, or Mobile Wallets. No other mode of payment is acceptable. Below is the complete detail of Application Fee.

Note: After successful payment, you will get a fee e-receipt. Candidate must download the filled application form along with fee receipt. Take a print out of it for future use.

MBA CET 2019 Admit Card

All the candidates who have successfully filled the application form will receive online hall ticket in the fourth week of February 2018. Candidate will need to download hall ticket after clicking the active link on the official website. On the login, page candidates have to enter the login credentials which are Registration Number/ Roll Number and Password/ Date of Birth. After downloading the hall ticket, candidates must paste passport size photograph on the space provided for it.

Keep this hall ticket safe as you will need it to appear for MAH MBA CET 2019. If a candidate is unable to show hall ticket when asked at the time of examination, then they will not get the entry to give the test.

Documents Required at the Time of Appearing for MAH MBA CET 2019

  1. Logical and Abstract Reasoning- This section checks how quickly you can think with accuracy. Generally, this section has question-based on diagrams and figures accompanied by verbal reasoning questions.
  2. Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension- You will be given passages and questions will be asked based on it. Moreover, your English will be put to test by asking you the questions on grammar, vocabulary, sentence completion, antonyms, synonyms, and comprehensions.
  3. Quantitative Aptitude- This will test your accuracy with numbers in limited time. MAH MBA CET 2019 Result

All the applicants who have appeared for Maharashtra CET be able to check their results from the official site of DTE, Maharashtra. In order to check the result, candidates will be required to click the direct link present on the Result page.

Thereafter, they will need to enter login validation details which are Registration Number/ Roll Number and Password/ Date of Birth. An applicant will be able to see MAH MBA CET 2019 Result and download it for future reference.  Soon after the result is declared candidates will be able to apply to various colleges for admission in MBA programme through DTE, Maharashtra site.
