MICAT 2019 Syllabus – Before starting your preparation it is necessary that you know the syllabus of MICAT well. MICAT is an exam conducted by Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad. To take admission here, you can give the entrance examination either in the month of December or in the month of February. MICAT 2019 Syllabus

In this paper apart from the common aptitude, there is a descriptive paper also. In which you write a paragraph of around 250 words on the given topic. For example, if the topic is ‘Environment is more important than development’, then you have to write 5 points in favor and against it. After that, you have to write an essay supporting any one of the point either favor or against but not both.

MICAT 2019 Exam Pattern

For any exam, it is essential that you have detailed knowledge of its exam pattern. So first of all, look at its marking scheme, duration of the exam, number of questions and sections. For your convenience, we have given the whole MICAT pattern below.

Mode of Examination: Computer-based online test.

Number of Questions: There are 6 sections in the exam.

Duration of Exam: The maximum time for the test is 2 Hours and 45 Minutes.

Total Numbers of Questions: There are around 145 questions in the exam. (number of questions are not pre-defined)

Marking Scheme: 1 mark for each correct answer

Negative Marking: There is negative marking of  0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.

Medium of Paper: The paper will be in English language only.

Type of Questions: There is a mix of Subjective and Objective questions.

This section is the written test where there is no negative marking. This section is totally about your perspective. It is the best way to show your creativity, thoughts, and knowledge.

Psychometric test

In these type of questions, there is no correct or wrong answer. It will test your thinking ability, personality, strengths, and weakness. Give the answers honestly and with an open mind. So, everyday pick topics from varied fields and write on it regularly. A question can come in any form, your main task is to clearly express your views. Nothing is right or wrong here.
