NMAT 2019 – Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) has released the registration form for NMAT 2019. Aspirants can apply online at nmat.org. The NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT) is scheduled to be held from October 04 to December 17, 2019. GMAC conducts NMAT 2019 in the computer-based mode for admission to management courses. 75 Day Test Window
Candidates have the option to take the test any time within the specified window. So, it is convenient for the students to manage the test schedule as compared to the fixed schedule of other exams. Test takers have the choice to select the date and time of the test in a real-time mode, based on seat availability at each of the centers.
Option To Retake NMAT
Students have the opportunity to improve the score which is not possible in other exams. You can take multiple times to get a good result in the exam. In total, an aspirant can take the test three times(including No Shows).
As compared to other exams, there is no negative marking in this exam. Therefore, candidates can make informed guesses and don’t have to drop a question in the test.
The result for the NMAT releases after four to five weeks after the test. The result is scaled to maintain parity and fairness in the exam. Such that, candidate having difficult question paper does not have any disadvantage over other candidates.
The NMAT 2019 forms have been released online on the official website of GMAC. First of all, candidates have to register to fill the NMAT application form. You need to enter the candidate’s name and contact details to complete the first step of the application process. Further, after the proper verification, candidates get the login details in the registered email id and phone number. After that use these credentials to access the student’s dashboard.
You have the option to fill the form in multiple sessions but ensure that you complete the same before the registration ends. In the application form, candidates have to enter the personal, educational and work experience details correctly. Moreover, select the school preference wisely in which you have high chances of selection. Finally, pay the application fee which is the same for all the candidates. Aspirants who have chosen more than 5 colleges, have to pay additional INR 200 for each additional college.

A. No, candidates can review or mark answers in the sectional limit only. you can either completely utilize this time or move to the next section directly.

A. Yes, you can mark, flag or unflag questions in the sections in the sectional limit only. Once a test taker has moved ahead from one section to the next section, he/she will not be able to return to the previous section.

First of all, candidates have to appear for NMAT 2019 to qualify the written round. The scorecard releases within two to three weeks after taking the test. Further cutoffs will release for the colleges who are accepting the NMAT scores. Candidates after checking the cutoff with their scores have to attend the admission process of the respective institutes. Generally, Most of the management colleges or universities have written ability test, group discussion, and personal interview. Candidates receive the admit card just after the completion of the application process. The test location will be as selected by you for the NMAT exam. You can download the admit card from the student dashboard after entering the valid NMAT login credentials. Moreover, it is important that you carry the admit card along with ID proofs on the exam day to prove your identity to the test administrator. The exam conducting body releases the NMAT scorecard after the conduction of the exam. As students keep taking the exam, the scorecard will release in the regular interval. In the scorecard, you will find the marks and percentile of the individual sections. If you are not satisfied with the results, then you can apply to retake the NMAT exam. A candidate can give 2 retakes after the main exam to improve their scores.
The result for NMAT 2019 releases window wise. There are 5 windows for example in the first phase, the result of those students release who give the test in the first 15 days of exam schedule. However, the final result releases cumulatively for all the candidates together. Candidates clearing the cutoff need to appear for the GDPI round of respective colleges.

After the conduction of all the test schedules, candidates will get the final result in the month of January 2020. The final result will contain the scaled scores and the percentile scores of each section. Candidates have to carry the copy of the result during the admission process in which you are qualified to attend GDPI round. Candidates must check their email regularly for any communication by NMAT by GMAC.
What is a Scaled Score?
This is the score which is equated to account for any differences in overall difficulty. Such a process ensures that scores are comparable and not affected by different candidates getting the different question papers.
What is a Percentile Score?
Final percentile score shows how many students among the total number of candidates have scored marks less than you. The result will be sent to schools to start the further round of selection process.
You can give three attempts within the 75 days window after registering for the exam. A minimum gap of 15 days is required between two attempts. It should be noted that “First come First serve” principle applies to both registration and scheduling.
The earlier you register and make a payment, the earlier you will able to schedule the test. So, it will increase your chances of getting a preferred date, time and test location.
You can schedule the exam through Schedule/Reschedule exam tab in the candidate dashboard available in the NMAT by GMAC account. Also, you can decide to reschedule your test not later than 72 hours prior to the scheduled test. Select date, time and test center, subject to availability, by paying an additional fee via online payment.
