OJEE MBA 2019 – The admit card for OJEE MBA 2019 is available. Candidates can access the hall ticket at ojee.nic.in. The OJEE MBA 2019 Exam Date is May 12, 2019. The exam takes place two times a year. Second, the Special OJEE conducts to fill the vacant seats. OJEE MBA 2019 is a state level computer-based entrance examination having 120 questions with negative marking for incorrect answers. OJEE MBA 2019

This year OJEE MBA 2019 is conducting in the online mode. Until last year, the paper used to be the pen and paper-based examination. Apart from the examination for MBA, 10+2 candidates can appear for Integrated MBA Course.

OJEE MBA 2019 Application Form Correction

Candidates who have completly submitted the OJEE MBA Application Form can access the form correction window. This facility is available to only to those candidates who have filled & submitted the form, paid the exam fee, and uploaded all the documents. The service to edit details is available online only. Importantly, candidates cannot change the category of the application form. However, they may change the course under that particular category.

The OJEE MBA 2019 Registration is a completely online process. It is advisable that candidates must fill only one application form. You must choose A, B, C, D, and E codes according to the course you want to take admission. During the form filling, you must choose “Odisha Joint Entrance Examination-2019” when asked to fill the name of the entrance test. Further, You have to select the Form of a particular course you are applying for.

Since you are applying for an MBA you must choose form ‘C‘, ‘E‘. They are for MBA and combination courses. After this, you have to enter the required information related to your personal and qualification details. Following that upload the digital documents and pay the OJEE MBA application fee.

OJEE MBA 2019 Application Process

Application Fee

The application fee for OJEE MBA 2019 form ‘C’ is Rs 1000/- while for form ‘E’ is Rs 1500/-. Candidates must pay the application fee online to complete the registration process. The applicable fee is exclusive of bank charges. Once the fee is paid, it is advisable that you take print out of fee receipt for the future reference.

OJEE MBA 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for OJEE MBA, you must check its eligibility criteria. This criterion defines the minimum qualification and other requirements you need to take admission. Candidates if not able to clear the eligibility can take the exam, but can’t take admission in the any of the associated institutes. Check the minimum percentage carefully that you need in the respective subject of the exam.

  • Age Limit: There is no limit to these programmes.
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks: Candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in graduation. For SC/ST candidates, a minimum of 40% is required.
  • Degree: You must have a Bachelors degree in any stream (Minimum 3 year UG degree).

Outside state candidates are not eligible for admission to government colleges.

OJEE MBA 2019 Exam Pattern

The OJEE MBA examination is a computer-based test. All the questions are multiple choice question in which you have to select one right option. The exam will not have sectional time-limits. Check the number of questions and duration of the exam from the table given below.

What is Special OJEE 2019?

Special OJEE is conducted by the exam body to fill the vacant seats in the programme. For example in the MBA course, there are 100 seats in a particular college and 80 are filled by an institute. Thus, to fill the leftover 20 seats OJEE conducts once again. Interested candidates have to register and take the exam one more time. Fresh candidates who have not applied for first OJEE can also take Special OJEE.

OJEE MBA 2018 Preparation

The preparation of OJEE MBA 2019 is similar to other national or state level examinations. So, for OJEE MBA here are some tips and tricks for the preparation.

Verbal Reasoning 

Follow the books which have all the sections given in the syllabus. Divide your time accordingly for vocabulary, Grammar and reading comprehension. Learn word-meanings daily, listen to English News, read newspapers, etc to excel in this section.

Analytical Reasoning 

After learning the basic concepts, look at the simpler ways to do long calculations. Also, practice application-based questions. Since the difficulty level of question is not high you can refer the government level job books. You can also refer to previous year question papers to know the type of questions that could be asked in this section.

General Awareness

The best way to crack this section is to read the newspaper daily. For static gk, pick a book like Lucent. Do not try to cram too many things at one time, just read with concentration and mark the important points to revise before the exam. Also, regularly take mocks to track your performance.

Computer Awareness

Take 9th and 10th level computer book. Learn the basic computer concepts from there. You can also search for basic computer terms, abbreviations, etc on the internet.

OJEE MBA 2019 Admit Card

Candidates successfully submitting the OJEE MBA 2019 application form along with examination fee get the Admit card. The Hall ticket is scheduled to release on April 20, 2019. Aspirants can download the same after entering their user ID and password. In case there is any error or you are not able to download it. Then contact the OJEE MBA 2019 office immediately before April 30, 2019.

This is the first time that  OJEE is taking place in computer-based mode. So, read all the instructions written on the hall ticket carefully. On the examination day, you must carry two copies of hall tickets to be duly signed by the invigilator. Submit one copy to the test administrator and keep another signed copy with you. Keep it safe until the completion of the admission process.

OJEE MBA 2019 Answer Key

The exam conducting body releases the answer key for OJEE MBA 2019. Candidates can download it within 4-5 days after the conduction of exam. Until last year, offline exam key uses to release. This year, the online examination is taking place, the pattern for the publishing of answer key may change. In case it publishes, students can calculate their raw scores in advance.

OJEE MBA 2019 Result

The result of the OJEE MBA 2019 releases in the form of a rank card. In which there is the rank you have achieved among the total number of candidates who have taken the test. The exam conducting body also releases the separate merit list for candidates seeking admission under reservation. You can download the OJEE MBA rank card from the official website after its declaration.

OJEE MBA 2019 cut-off

Once scorecards are available, the cut off of the various institute’s releases. It shows the minimum marks required to take admission in the MBA programme. On the basis of these OJEE MBA cut-offs only, participating institutes invite the aspirants for counseling round.

OJEE MBA 2019 counseling

After the declaration of the OJEE MBA 2019 cut-off, you must appear for the counseling round. So, candidates in the order of merit must attend it with the requisite documents and certificates. In this process, there is the verification of documents, eligibility, category, and reservation. Moreover, the candidate must show the original and the photocopies of the certificates, mark sheets, and other relevant documents at the nodal center.

OJEE MBA 2019 Colleges

Under the Odisha state of India, there are 10 government colleges accepting OJEE MBA scores with a total intake of 650 aspirants. Whereas there are 56 Private institutions with 4644 seats for the MBA programme. In the MBA Integrated programme, there are only 8 private institutes with a seat intake of 480 candidates.

OJEE MBA 2019 Selection Process

After the conduction of examination, the university releases the merit list of the selected candidates. It is based on the availability of seats for OJEE MBA in the particular program. Candidates now have to appear for counseling in order of merit. The procedure for the same is recommended by the policy Planning Body and approved by the Government.

Admission for Integrated MBA

The admission process for MBA is pretty sorted but for Integrated MBA seats are divided according to the stream. Which means there is a division for seats among the Science, Commerce, and Arts stream candidates. For example, if there are 60 seats then candidates from these streams will get 20 seats each. As such there is no restriction, if the seat is vacant in one stream then it can be converted to give admission to the eligible candidate.

First of all, OJEE MBA 2019 rank is taken into consideration. If there is any seat vacant then the above process will follow. Even seats are still vacant then Diploma Engineering students and students passed in +2 vocational courses can take part in the admission process.

What if reserved seats are vacant?

In such cases, any vacant seat converts into the general seats. Moreover, it completely depends upon the rules defined by the conducting body of the exam.

OJEE MBA 2019 Reservation Policy

Candidates seeking admission through reservation must have Odisha state issued nativity certificate. Therefore, it is applicable for the natives of Odisha only. Henceforth SC, ST, GC, PC, ExServiceman, TFW and women candidates must have this certificate along with the other relevant documents.
