OJEE MBA 2019 – It is an exam conducted by the Odisha state of India. Through the Joint Entrance Examination, aspirants can take admission to various graduate and postgraduate courses in the private and governmental institution of Odisha. Since there are many medical and engineering courses, the course for the career in management is OJEE MBA. In OJEE there are two MBA programmes. First, is the Integrated MBA for 10+2 candidates and the second one is MBA for the graduate or postgraduate candidates. Only candidates from Odisha state can take admission in government colleges of these programmes. Further, there is different eligibility criteria, syllabus, exam pattern for both the courses. OJEE MBA 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for OJEE MBA, you must check its eligibility criteria. This criterion defines the minimum qualification and other requirements you need to take admission in the programme. Candidates if not able to clear the eligibility can take the exam, but can’t admission in the any of the associated institutes. Check the minimum percentage carefully that you need in the respective subject of the exam.

Age Limit: There is no limit for these programmes.

OJEE MBA 2019 Application Process

The OJEE MBA is a completely online process. It is advisable that candidates must fill only one application form among  A, B, C, D, E and F according to the course you want to take admission. During the form filling, you must choose “Odisha Joint Entrance Examination-2019” when asked to fill the name of entrance test. Further, You have to select the Form of a particular course you are applying for. Since you are applying for MBA you must choose form ‘C‘, ‘E‘ or ‘F‘. They are for MBA, combination courses, and Integrated MBA respectively. After this, you have to enter the required information related to your personal and qualification details. Following that upload the digital documents and pay the application fee.

Application Fee

The application fee for form ‘C’ and ‘F’ is Rs 1000/- while for form ‘E’ is Rs 1500/-. Candidates must pay the application fee online to complete the registration process. This fee is according to last year admission process, any changes in the application fees will be updated soon. For now, you can take the rough idea of the OJEE MBA examination fee.

Reservation Policy

Candidates seeking admission through reservation must have Odisha state issued nativity certificate. Therefore, it is applicable for the natives of Odisha only. Henceforth SC, ST, GC, PC, ExServiceman, TFW and women candidates must have this certificate along with the other relevant documents. OJEE MBA 2019 Colleges

Under the Odisha state of India, there are 10 government colleges with a total intake of 650 aspirants. Whereas there are 56 Private institutions with 4644 seats for the MBA programme. In the MBA Integrated programme, there are only 8 private institutes with a seat intake of 480 candidates.

OJEE MBA 2019 Admit Card

Candidates who will completely submit the application form along with examination fee will receive the Admit card. The Hall ticket will release in the month of April 2019. Aspirants can download the same after entering their user ID. In case there is any error or you are not able to download it. Then contact the OJEE-2019 office immediately before the notified dates. On the examination day, you must carry two copies of hall tickets to be duly signed by the invigilator. Submit one copy to the test administrator and keep another signed copy with you. Keep it safe until the completion of admission process.

OJEE MBA 2019 Exam Pattern

The examination is a pen and paper-based test. All the questions are multiple choice question in which you have to select one right option. So, you will have to dark one answer of your choice in the OMR sheet. Check the number of questions and duration of the exam from the table given below.

OJEE MBA 2019 Result

The result of the OJEE MBA will release in the form of a rank card. In which there is the rank you have achieved among the total number of candidates who will take the test. There will be a separate merit list for candidates seeking admission under reservation. You can download the rank card from the official website after its declaration.

OJEE MBA 2019 cut-off

Once scorecards are available, the cut off of the various institutes will release. It will show the minimum marks required to take admission in the MBA programme. On the basis of these cut-offs only, participating institutes will invite the aspirants for counseling round.

OJEE MBA 2019 counseling

After the declaration of the cut-off, you must appear for the counseling round. So, candidates in the order of merit must attend it with the requisite documents and certificates. In this process, there is the verification of documents, eligibility, category, and reservation. Moreover, the candidate must show the original and the photocopies of the certificates, mark sheets, and other relevant documents at the nodal center.

OJEE MBA 2019 Selection Process

After the conduction of examination, the university will release the merit list of the selected candidates. It is based on the availability of seats in the particular program. Candidates now have to appear for counseling in order of merit. The procedure for same is recommended by the policy Planning Body and approved by the Government.

Admission for Integrated MBA

The admission process for MBA is pretty sorted but for Integrated MBA seats are divided according to the stream. Which means there is a division for seats among the Science, Commerce, and Arts stream candidates. For example, if there are 60 seats then candidates from these streams will get 20 seats each. As such there is no restriction, if the seat is vacant in one stream then it can be converted to give admission to the eligible candidate.

First of all, OJEE rank is taken into consideration. If there is any seat vacant then the above process will follow. Even seats are still vacant then Diploma Engineering students and students passed in +2 vocational courses can take part in the admission process.

What if reserved seats are vacant?

In such cases, any vacant seat will be converted into the general seats. Moreover, it completely depends upon the rules defined by the conducting body of the exam.

OJEE MBA 2018 Preparation

The preparation of OJEE is different for both the aspirants of Integrated MBA and MBA. So, for MBA candidates must prepare thoroughly as difficulty level higher to Integrated MBA.

Integrated MBA

  • Analytical Reasoning – For this section, they must solve questions starting form 9th standard books. Doing that they will get the idea of basic mathematical concepts. Further for practice buy any aptitude book and previous year question paper for best preparation.
  • Verbal Reasoning – For this, you can take vocabulary book of the medium level words. Revise it daily to keep them fresh in your mind.
  • General Awareness – Read newspaper daily. You can also take GK books from the 5th standard and revise it daily.
  • Reading Comprehension – Take a practice book and solve atleast 3 passages daily.


  • Verbal Reasoning – Follow the books which have all the sections given in the syllabus. Divide your time accordingly for vocabulary, Grammar and reading comprehension.
  • Analytical Reasoning – After learning the basic concepts, revise some difficult calculations of long calculation and application-based questions. Since standard of question is not high you can refer the government level job books.
  • General Awareness – Read newspaper daily. For static gk, pick a book like Lucent.
  • computer awareness – Take 9th and 10th level computer book. Learn the basic computer concepts from there.
