SNAP 2019

SNAP 2019 – This is the Symbiosis National Aptitude Online Test takes place once in a year. The candidates who are aspiring to take admission in MBA / MSc (CA) / MSc (SS) Programmes can apply for SNAP 2019  conducted by Symbiosis International University. The exam will conduct to invite the application to join the 2020-21 academic session. First of all, candidates have to register for the exam to confirm their candidature. Moreover, in this exam registration fee is separate for SNAP and respective colleges where you are applying. Once the entrance exam is over, the qualified students will attend the GE-PIWAT process conducted by each of the institutes individually. SNAP 2019

The SNAP test is a gateway to two of the top MBA schools in India The college where every student wants to grab a seat are SIBM and SCMHRD. Whereas there are other 15 Symbiosis management institutes for which SNAP test is necessary. On the other hand, there are 10 symbiosis institutes for which this test is not applicable. SNAP 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for SNAP must check its eligibility criteria. Any discrepancies found later can lead to cancellation of candidature of the applicant. The detailed eligibility is written below.

  • Qualification  – Candidate must have a minimum three-year graduation degree from any recognized university. Specific subject for MBA specialization needs to be checked from the respective institute’s website.
  • Percentage – Candidate must have the minimum aggregate of 50% marks and 45% for SC/ ST candidates.
  • Final Year Students – Candidates in last year of their graduation is also eligible to apply.
  • Foreign University – Candidates from Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

SNAP 2019 Application Process

Once the registration starts candidates have to register for SNAP after providing the name, date of birth, mobile number and email address. Ensure that you fill all the information correctly, as you will not be able to make any changes later. Further, upload the photograph in the specified format and enter the OTP to verify your mobile number. After that pay the SNAP registration fee via online mode or through demand draft. Moving forward, enter your important details wherever necessary in the form. Finally, pay the application fee of the colleges where you want to apply for.

Application Fee

Candidates can pay the examination fee online or through demand draft. Candidates must ensure that the DD reaches in time to the university. Whereas the online payment can be done through Billdesk, Axis Bank or Indian Bank Gateway.

  • For online, the application fee is Rs 1750/-.
  • If DD, then the examination fee is Rs 2065/-.

SNAP 2019 Exam Pattern

To prepare for the exam, it is necessary that candidates carefully look at the exam pattern of SNAP. The exam is a computer-based test with no sectional limit for each section.

Mode of Examination – The exam will take place in online mode only.

Duration of Test – Candidates have to complete the test in 120 Minutes.

Type of Questions – The questions will be multiple choice questions with four options each.

Marking Scheme – Each question carries 1 mark in the paper.

Negative Marking – There is negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

SNAP 2019 Syllabus

SNAP 2019 Preparation

Quantitative Ability / Data Interpretation / Data Sufficiency

  • For this section, the candidates will have to prepare some common topics like Profit & Loss, Averages, and Mixtures, Ratio & Proportions, Time Speed Distance etc, strenuously.
  • You must learn the shortcuts and tricks to solve the questions and learn time management.
  • In this section, solving previous year question papers, taking mock tests and sample papers really works.

General English

  • For this section, the candidates will need to improve their vocabulary. If the candidate will get the command in the vocabulary section, then it will be very easy for the candidates to score well in this section.
  • The understanding of the grammar is really very important for the candidates. There will be more questions related to Grammar and Vocabulary in the paper.
  • For, RC you must read newspapers regularly to improve the reading speed.

Analytical & Logical Reasoning

  • This section requires more and more practice. So, solve every type of questions that can come from any topic. If the candidates will have good logical thinking, then that will be an added advantage for them.
  • Majorly asked questions will be from Number Series, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relation, Analogy, Sitting Arrangement, Puzzles and Picture Reasoning etc. So if the candidate will cover these topics then they could be able to get good marks.

General Awareness

  • For this section, the candidates will have to start preparing as early as possible because this section can never be improved instantly. The candidate will have to prepare it with great patience.
  • This section will not have any specific syllabus so it is very vast to prepare. The best way to prepare this section is to read Newspapers, Articles related to politics/movies/science, Current Affairs etc.

SNAP 2019 Admit Card

The Admit card for the SNAP will be available on snaptest.org. The candidates will need the registration id and password to download the same. Moreover, aspirants have to paste the recent colored passport size photograph on the admit card. Most importantly carry the hall ticket and photo identity proof on the examination day to prove your identity. After the examination, keep the admit card safe for use in the further GE-PIWAT rounds. SNAP 2019 Selection Process

First of all, candidates have to appear for the SNAP entrance exam. In few days result will declare containing the total score obtained by a candidate in the test. After that merit list will release of the respective institutes containing the name of candidates eligible to appear for the GE-PIWAT round. Further, the institutes will analyze the performance of candidates in written exam and GE-PIWAT round to release the final list of selected candidates.

SNAP 2019 Result

The result of SNAP will release in few days after the exam. Candidates will able to check the result from the official website after entering the SNAP id and password. The result will contain the candidate’s details and marks scored in each of the section. You must keep the scorecard safe to take in the further round of selection process. After that cutoff and merit list will release of the respective institutes.

SNAP 2019 Cut Off/ Merit List

All the institutes will release the cut off for the exam. This will ensure that the minimum marks a candidate must need to appear in the GE-PIWAT round. It will help you to guess if you will receive the calls from the colleges you have applied for. In few days, the institutes will release the official merit list containing the name of students who are qualified for the next round.

SNAP 2019 GE-PIWAT

These rounds will take place to assess the candidates on the basis of their communication skills, knowledge and team leadership skills. You need to impress the panel of judges through these qualities and the ability to convey your ideas. In Written Ability Test (WAT), you will have to write an essay of about 300-400 words on the given topic. This will help assess your thinking and writing ability. Similarly, in Group Discussion (GD), you need to showcase your ability to work in a team and ability to present your ideas orally. Further, in the Personal Interview (PI), you may have to answer questions from your education specialization, gk etc.
