SRCC GBO 2019 Selection Process

Candidates have to go through the three-stage selection process in order to take admission to the academic year 2019-21. Only after the cumulative result of the three rounds, the students are final shortlisted for the new A.Y.

1. Computer-Based Test

The test is conducted by SRCC at the national level in the computer-based mode. It is a 2-hour test with all the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). The test four sections naming  English Comprehension & Language Ability, Quantitative Ability, Logical Ability, Data Interpretation with 40 questions each. In the exam, there is a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer. The weight-age of each question is 4 marks.

2. Group Discussion

Selected students have to appear for this round. In the stage, candidates have to show teamwork, communication skills and ability to convey your thoughts. Some previous year topics are:

  • It’s harmful to be sincere unless you are also stupid
  • Economic development is a panacea for Naxalism
  • No one is wise by chance

3. Personal Interview

This is more of one-on-one interaction with the panelist. You may have an interview with 2-3 panelist. In this stage, you must convey your ideas clearly like “why you want to do an MBA?” etc. Some questions are popularly asked on:

SRCC GBO 2019 Final Result

After the completion of all the stages of the selection process, the final GBO 2019 issues on the official website. The list consists of the weighted scores of each round. The online test scores are displayed out of 75. For GD & PI, the scores are calculated from 10 and 15 respectively. Last year, Swasti Arya scored highest 70.896 scores. Following that, Tripti Lal and Anindya Srivastava scored 69.055 and 68.815 respectively.
