The merit list is issued as per the candidate’s performance in written test, PIT, and PI. Following it, TISS 2019 Waiting List will release to fill the vacant seats. This year, Computer-based TISSNET 2019 entrance test held on January 13, 2019. In TISSNET, there no negative marking for any of the programme Every year approximately 37000 students apply for the TISSNET examination. Since candidates have the option to choose only 3 programmes out of 53, 15-17 K students apply for HRM & LR.

TISSNET Merit List 2019
After PIT & PI rounds are over, the institute publishes the merit list official website. It releases after considering seat availability, the order of preference, and reservation policy. The weightage of each round in TISSNET 2019 is as follows.

Rules of Preparation of TISSNET 2019 Waiting List
Candidates who will not get the admission according to the first preference will have to cool one’s heels for the waiting list. The rules for the TISSNET 2019 waiting list are as follows.
- Candidates getting admission through 2nd preference can wait for the list, in case the seat is vacant for the 1st preference.
- If a candidate gets the admission in two courses. Then the higher order preference will prevail.
TISSNET 2019 Reservation
Candidates seeking admission in TISS will get the reservation benefits according to the government norms. There is a reservation of 15% and 27% at the Mumbai and Hyderabad campuses respectively. The policy is applicable for Scheduled Caste (SC), Schedule Tribe (ST) and Other Backward Classes (non-creamy layer) for each of the programmes. In addition to that 3%, 5% seats are reserved for Persons With Disabilities (PWD), Kashmiri migrants, and Children of the Armed Forces Employees respectively.
TISS 2019 Admission Process/ Selection Process
Candidates have to clear all the rounds, in order to take admission in the college. The selection process consists of the following rounds.
- Entrance Exam – Appear for the TISSNET 2019 on the specified dates.
- Cutoff – Candidates have to get minimum qualifying marks in order to participate in the next round.
- PIT & PI – This round will test the candidate’s communication skills, academic knowledge, creativity etc.
- Merit List – On the basis of previous rounds, merit list will release to admit candidates on the preference of the programme selected.
- Final Admission – Selected students will get the intimation to take the final admission in the college.
TISSNET 2019 DAF
Candidates who get shortlisted for TISS PIT and PI need to fill the Detailed Application Form (DAF). This form release at the official website and can be downloaded from students’ login. On the interview day, candidates have to take this form with them. You can expect most of the questions in the interview from DAF only. So, while writing your SOP or biographical sketch, make sure that you are writing authentic details.
TISSNET 2019 PIT/ PI
After TISSNET 2019, The Pre Interview Test (PIT), and Personal Interview (PI) are the two rounds that a candidate must clear after TISSNET 2019. Students will receive the intimation regarding the same from TISS Mumbai on the registered email id. According to the marks obtained in these rounds, the merit list will release to select candidates.
About Pre Interview Test

About Personal Interview
Now, the personal Interview will take place for each candidate. In the interview, students have to answer questions based on ethics, academic, general knowledge etc. In addition to that, you must also prepare from the topics related to the course selected by them.
- The interview will take place at the campus for which the particular course is selected. As most of the management courses are available at the Mumbai campus. which means you have to visit the TISS Mumbai campus for the interview.
- Only, SC/ST will get the reimbursement of traveling allowance. For the rest, they have to make travel arrangements accordingly.
- In case, an aspirant has applied for more than one programme. Then the student will get admission according to the order of course preference marked in the registration form.
- Students may request for a change in PIT/PI dates if it is clashing with other interviews.
TISSNET 2019 Result
After the conduction of the exam, the TISSNET 2019 Result releases in the PDF format. It contains the sectional and overall marks obtained by the students. In addition to that, it consists of the minimum qualifying marks that a candidate must need to appear in the next stage of the selection process.

TISSNET 2019 Admit Card
The TISSNET 2019 Admit Card is available between December 29, 2018. It releases on the official website to download it before the exam date. Candidates must use the email-id and password to access the admit card. The TISSNET admit card contains the important details like registration details, roll number, test venue etc. Most importantly, candidates must carry the hall ticket on the examination day along with a valid identity proof.

About TISSNET Examination
The TISSNET 2019 is a national level examination for admission in M.A., M. Sc., M.H.A., M.P.H. courses. Though the institute is popular for Arts related programmes, courses related to management are also well known. Even its alumni are well known all over the world.

TISSNET 2019 Eligibility Criteria
It is essential that applicants check the eligibility criteria for TISSNET 2019. The eligibility for all the courses offered by TISS is as follows.
- Academic Qualification – A student must have a Bachelor’s Degree of a minimum of 3 years duration from a recognized University.
- Final Year Candidates – Final year aspirants can also apply for the exam. Such candidates must have passed all the previous year semester exams. For example, if a programme is of three-year duration, then you must have cleared all the first to fourth semesters. Such aspirants must submit the result by September 2019.

Following that, the exam conducting body will send the password on the same entered email. You have to use the same email id and password to log in and to access any facility by TISS. Once the TISSNET 2019 Registration is complete, you can proceed to fill the application form.
Application Form – The TISSNET 2019 Application Form will available at the official website of TISSNET. In it, you have to enter personal, programme and academic details. Is TISSNET 2019 Application Available Offline?
Yes, candidates having no internet facility in remote areas can access the offline form. In such cases, you have to write to TISS to request a printed application form. After filling the form, you have to send the same at the university address via speed post.
