TISSNET 2020 – Tata Institute of Social Science has released application form for TISSNET 2020 on admissions.tiss.edu. TISS is allowing candidates to apply before November 25, 2019. TISS National Entrance Test (TISS-NET) is computer-based test and will be held at national levle, in 40 cities across India. TISSNET is conducted to offer admission in various Master’s Degree Programs. The candidates can choose any subject or specialization in the Master of Arts (MA). What’s New in TISSNET 2020?
Tiss has introduced TISS Management Aptitude Test called TISS MAT for the candidates who wish to pursue the following programs in Mumbai campus:
- MA Human Resource Management & Labour Relations (HRM &LR)
- MA Organisation Development, Change and Leadership (ODCL)
Also, TISS MAT will be conducted just after the TISSNET 2020 and the marks for TISS MAT will be combined with the pre-interview test (PIT).

TISSNET 2020 Application form
TISS will release the application form for TISSNET 2020 online, candidates are advised to fill the application form before the deadline. The candidates are advised to check the page regularly for all the crucial updates on TISSNET 2020 application form release dates. firstly, candidates had to register online by providing the basic details like name, gender, mobile no. email id, date of birth, etc. After that candidates have to do the steps which are as follows:

TISS Nation Entrance Test (NET) is a computer-based test, and the level of the exam varies from easy to moderate. For scoring well in the test, check the complete exam pattern from the below:

- Total No. of Questions: 100 questions in the exam.

TISSNET 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are requested to check the eligibility criteria before filling the TISSNET 2020 application form. Applicants found ineligible will be rejected at any stage in the admission process and no objections will be considered in this regard. So make sure to check the following details carefully.
- Qualification: Candidates must have 10+2+3 or 10+12+4 years of study and must have a graduation degree from a recognized university.
- Age Limit: There is no age bar for appearing in TISSNET.
- Appearing: Students in their final year are also eligible to apply for TISSNET 2020 provided that the result of the last semester is out by June 8, 2020.
Selection Process for TISS
For getting admission into TISS, you need to qualify the 3 stages. Firstly appear for the National entrance test (TISSNET). Based on the performance in the TISSNET 2020 exam, shortlisted candidates will be called for the Pre Interview Test and Personal Interview (PIT/PI). TISS Management Aptitude Test (TISS-MAT) 2020
Students applying for MA (HRM & LR) and/or MA (ODCL) programs need to appear for the TISS MAT after the TISSNET exam. TISS MAT will be conducted immediately after the TISSNET 2020. In TISS MAT 2020, candidates need to complete 45 questions in 30 mins.
- For each correct answe 1 mark is given
- For each incorrect answer 0.25 mark will be deducted.
TISS-MAT Score will be considered along with the Stage 2 of the admission process and thus will be considered only for those who are shortlisted for Stage 2. TISS-MAT Score will be aggregated with the score of PIT and PI in the following manner to arrive at the final score for selection.

The Tata Institute of Social Science has the reservation policy based on the category of the candidates. However, the TISS Guwahati campus reserves 66 % seats for the students belonging to the northeastern states of India. Whereas the remaining 34% are offered by considering the following reservation policy.

TISSNET 2020 Admit Card
Candidates who successfully apply for the TISSNET 2020, will be issued a hall ticket by the institute. All the candidates are required to carry the admit card to the examination hall. To download the TISSNET 2020 admit card, candidates need to enter the email id and the password. After that, take the colored printout of the admit card on the A4 size sheet. Make sure to take the copies of it, in case you misplace the admit you will have a copy of it. Also, the admit card will not be sent via post, you have to download it online only.

TISSNET 2020 Merit List Preparation
The final result for TISSNET releases in the form of merit list. All the candidates must be aware of the fact that how is the merit list prepared for the TISSNET 2020.
The TISSNET 2020 merit list is prepared by keeping the following points :
- PIT + TISS MAT (If applicable)– 70%
- PI – 30%.
In the case of candidates applying for MA HRM & LR and MA ODCL the scores for TISSMAT, PIT and PI will be aggregated in the ratio 30:40:30.
Also, the merit list will be prepared based on the scoreand the preferences of campus selected by the candidates at the time of filling up the online application form

TISSNET 2020 Result
After the exam is conducted, the institute shall release the result for TISSNET 2020 online at the official website. To download the result, candidates need to log in using the email id and the password. The shortlisted candidates will further be called for the PIT/GD and personal interview round. Also, the result will be in the form of a scorecard and can be downloaded in the pdf format. At the time of the GD/PI round, candidates need to carry their scorecard to the interview centers.
TISSNET 2020 Tie Breaker
While compiling your result, if anyone gets a tie with other candidates then the tie-breaker strategy shall be considered. Check the same from the below:
- Personal Interview (PI): The candidate who performs better in the PI will be selected.
- If still, the tie remains, candidates’ performance in the Pre-interview test shall be considered.
- Again, if the scores are equal then TISSNET 2020 scores are compared.
- If TISSNET MBA 2020 scores are also equal, the age of the two candidates will be compared. Therefore, the older of the two will get selected.
