XAT 2020 Admit Card releases by the last week of December 2019.  XAT Admit Card 2020 publishes online on the official website for Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) at xatonline.in. The link for XAT 2020 Admit Card will be issued in this post for candidates to download it. XAT 2020 is conducted by XLRI (Xavier Labour Research Institute) Jamshedpur on behalf of XAMI. XAT 2020 Admit Card determines the online test center for the candidate. Candidates have to carry the admit card, identity proof, and photograph. Importantly, the hall ticket has to be signed by them in the presence of the invigilator. XAT 2020 Admit Card

Candidates have to appear for the exam at the allotted test center. XAT 2020 Admit Card is going to have all the important information that the candidate is going to need for this exam. The test center is usually allotted on the basis of the chosen preference of the candidate. The candidate is given the choice of choosing from a list of test cities across the country.

How to download XAT 2020 Admit Card

Following are a few steps which will help the candidate download the XAT 2020 Admit Card. Candidates can go through them to avoid hassle and confusion.

  1. Visit the link given in this post or log on to www.xatonline.in and click on ‘login’ mentioned on the top right corner of the page.
  2. The candidates will be redirected to a new window or tab in their browsers. Candidates are now required to fill in the User ID and password provided to them after completing the application process.
  3. After entering the required details, click on ‘login.’
  4. Candidates will be redirected to their personal account page for XAT 2020. Click on ‘scorecard’
  5. The Scorecard is going to be in the PDF format. Candidates can download them and save it for reference.

What if you forget your login password?

In case a candidate forgets his or her password, following are steps to the solution for it:

  1. Click on ‘forgot password’ on the login link given in this post.
  2. A new page will open where the candidate has to enter his or her registered email ID and phone number.
  3. A CAPTCHA image tab will open on the same page. Candidates need to enter the characters given in it for verification.
  4. After entering these details click on enter.
  5. Candidates will receive an email with their password on their registered email IDs which they can use to login.

How to recover password for XAT 2020

XAT 2020 Admit Card Test Cities

Test venues can be selected by the candidate during the application process. Once the test center has been decided, there can be no change in it. Candidates are suggested to choose their test cities carefully as it is going to be the final request for XAT 2020.

Prohibited Items in XAT 2020:

There are items which are prohibited in XAT 2020 on grounds of security and ethics. Candidates can be debarred from the exam if found in possession of any of the following items:

  • Calculator
  • Watches
  • Mobile Phones
  • Other Electronic Gadgets
  • Pen
  • Paper/Notebook/Notepad etc
  • Any kind of jewelry
  • Sharp objects like knife, nail clipper etc
  • Any other kind of stationery

Other Important Details :

Here are a few more important details which are important for the candidate to know.

  • Candidates are not allowed in the test centers after the gates are closed.
  • Scribble pad and pen will be provided to the candidates in the examination lab.
  • Do not forget to save your answers before moving to another question.
  • Candidates are not allowed to leave the examination lab before the completion of the exam duration.
  • No demand for change in the test center will be entertained.
  • Candidates can log in in their computer systems 10 minutes before the exams to go through the instructions.
  • The candidate is not allowed to be accompanied by anyone in the test center.
  • Candidates are required to return the scribble pad and pen after the completion of the test.

XAT 2020 Exam Pattern

There will be four sections in the XAT 2020 namely

  • Verbal and Logical Ability

Distribution of questions in every section

  • Verbal and Logical Ability – Approx 26
  • Decision Making – Approx 21
  • Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation – Approx 27
  • General Knowledge – 25

Marking scheme 

  • Number of questions – 74 + 25
  • Type of questions – Objective i.e. Multiple choice questions with 5 options
  • Positive marking – 1 mark for correct answer
  • Negative marking – 0.25 for every wrong answer
  • Additional negative marking – 0.05 for unanswered questions beyond 8 questions

Duration of the exam

  • Duration of XAT 2020 – 3 hours + 15 minutes

XAT 2020 Result

XAT 2020 Result announces in the third week of January 2020. The result releases on the official website for XAT 2020. Candidates can download their scorecards by logging in with their provided User IDs and Passwords. XAT 2020 Result is considered for admission to XLRI and many other associated institutes and universities. Admission is only confirmed after the process of other rounds and eligibility criteria is satisfied by the candidates.
