Rest of the sections are more or less similar to CAT.  In terms of attempting the question paper, there is no sectional limit in XAT when compared to CAT. So, you can attempt your strong section first and then move forward for other sections.

How to Prepare for XAT English Language and Logical Reasoning?

Most of the questions in this section are mostly inference based. The passage questions are quite tricky as well and options are very to each other. The major topics in this section are

While doing a question, think about what would you do if you are in a place of a manager. You need to answer by considering the ethical value also. In calculation based questions, find a feasible solution to all the stakeholders mentioned in the question.

The questions in XAT quant are little tricky. For this section, improve your basics to attempt quantitative ability questions. If you have prepared for CAT quant questions then it will be easy for you attempt questions in XAT.

The Data Interpretation in XAT is also calculation intensive. You can guess the difficulty level similar to IIFT questions.

How to Prepare for XAT Essay Writing?

For this, you must practice writing essays on the variety of topics. Moreover, write on a desktop or laptop only. As slow writing speed can also consume your time in the exam. Read a variety of topics and pick one topic daily and write on it. With time you will know how to gather the ideas and present your views. Try to bring a perspective of all the stakeholders in a situation or a problem. For example Social, Political, Economic, Law, Technology etc impact.
